Come at me!
If you think you can beat a "Kuromachi" that is.

The Group of bandits looked at each other for the answer, they did not know if this man was for real or not, but somehow they had been approached out of the blue by a man claiming to be a Kuromachi, the four lesser bandits looked to their leader, a rather large burly man who peered at the young man who had so suddenly entered there camp.

Machi? Bah!
Outside of Rain they be rarer than a clean hand.
Ill be betting he be a poser.

The others seemed to take faith in his words and suddenly their confusion got lifted. 'How dare you try to trick us!?' 'Were not scared of you!' They drew their weapons and started to stalk out towards the Ninja. The young man wore black and blue garments beneath a ninja vest similar to the ones chunin wear in Konoha, covering his brow was a blue cloth bandana that held the forehead protector of the Rain. As the bandits started to go from slow skulking to outright charge the Ninja simply smiled slyly and brought his right hand up to his forehead, shaking his head.

'Geez.. Bandits always choose the painful route.'
'Alirght! Yoshaaa!! Come at me, you inbred cow-herders!'

Pulling out a kunai he went into a ready stance, his free hand gesturing for the bandits to keep coming. In response to the taunts they yelled and cursed him and picked up speed, rushing headlong into his.. Trap.

'Huh?'

Was the only words the bandits could utter before the ground they ran on suddenly gave away. 'AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!' the four fell hard, dropping into a deep hole the ninja had dug days before, creating a pile of moaning bandits.

Yosh!
I am the strongest!!

Announced the Rain nin, pumping his kunai into the air in a very flamboyant manner, a wide grin on his face expressing real joy at his overwhelming display of skill. Meanwhile, the bandit leader looked at him with the dullest eyes you have ever seen, his hand slowly coming to point at the trap.

'Are you serious?
You call yourself the strongest after using trickery?
Are you for real..?'

The Rain nin stopped celebrating and looked confused at the bandit leader, he scratched his head and looked down at the pile of complaining bandits and tilted his head, he seemed to consider it for a while before looking back up at the leader, his expression twisting back into a smile.

'Pretty sure, yes.'

The Bandit Leaders face turned red, he grabbed hold of his weapon, an enormous tetsubo, raising it over his shoulder before starting up into a charge at the Rain Nin. 'You bastard! Ill Show you what makes you the strongest!! I Kubo Karagshima shall destroy you!!' The Rain nins face light up, his whole body emitting an aura of heat as he visinly got pumped up at the sound of the mans words! He jumped backwards, landing wih one hand on the ground, the other holding onto the kunai.

'Yosha! I can feel your passion, my Name is Kuromachi Akurai, lets settle this like men!'

He finished his little return of shouting with his kunai, throwing the sharp object in the direction of the charging ogre of man. Kubo easily swathed the kunai away with a swipe of his mace and then proceeded to perform a mighty leap over the trap that the rest of his gang had fallen into.

He came down on the ground on the other side just a few feet from Akurai, he grinned in victory for overcoming the trap and was about to charge the remaining distance when he felt something, something odd, like, the ground, giving out.

'Huh?'
'You.. You gotta be kidd-AAAAAAAAHHH!!!!'

The ground gave away to the mans weight, his huge body falling down into an extension of the trap, and proceded to roll over into the other hole, crushing his other freinds beneath his weight, causing all kinds of ruckus and cursing. Akurai himself turned his body back into the previous victory pose, pumping both his curled fists into the air.

Winning!

He walked over to the hole as he unfurled a net from one of his pockets, the chakra infused net fell down upon the protesting criminals and bound itself around them, the net draining them of the strength to resist. He smiled happy that he had accomplished his plan perfectly, laughing to himself as he unfurled a document which he merrily inscribed with the letters "Mission Accomplished - Kuromachi Akurai, Glory to the Kuromachi!' That last part was not really a part of the process, but he felt it was required still.

"Freaking mole! You disgust me!!"

Walking slowly towards the delusional Kuromachi kid, was a a blue-haired girl with not so similar attire to his, with a scoronful look on her face. The young woman wore a lime green fullbody beneath the same ninja vest as her apparent acquaintance, together with a pair of brown gloves; covering her hair in horizontal line was a white cloth bandana (like Sakura's) that held the forehead protector of the Rain. She did, however, have some very distinct facial traits: she had her nose tattoed with 4 horizontal lines, 6 blue circles distributed evenly behind each of her eyes and her irises were a mix of yellow and blue, not reaching the green the two colors are supposed to make up.

"When will you stop being a pussy with your hole-making and become a man? You should try to use your fists for something else than grabbing rods with shovels attached to them, like, I don't know, clenching your fists to hit another?"

On the feisty and ridiculously unscrupulous girl's back there was something coming out like an appendix. Actually, it looked more like another head. A blushing head, too. A very whispery head, however, that had been the entire time telling her to not be so rough on the Kuromachi, but to no avail, since his words couldn't even reach a fly 5 centimeters away from his face.

"Besides, a true man doesn't open holes, he fills them!!" She said, whilst pointing at Akurai and bending her torso back, as in looking down on him so much that she had to bend back.

"What the!?"

Akurai twisted around in a very dramatic fashion, his garments swirling around with him, his right arm reached out pointing at the approaching girl in a very accusing way, his face expressing some sort of mix between outrage and torment.

Maki, you two faced pit-beast!
How dare you insult my greatest creations!?
I spent a week digging these holes, a WEEK!

He stamped twice to signify something, though what one could only hope to even guess at.

Saya laughed. A laughter not of fun, but of ridicule. Akurai was so helplessly idiotic that she couldn't help it. She also seemed to have ignored his insult of her and her brother being a "two faced pit-beast". Whether she had ignored it because she didn't like to hear it or because she felt happy that he mentioned the two siblings as one person, one could never know. Honestly though, it was the second reason. It was evident due to her extreme instant blushing and her covering her face with her hands.

"That was really sweet... taken that it came from you," bridging open two of her fingers to show one of her eyes, shooting scorn through them at Akurei.

"Besides, coming from an moron who spends a lousy week acting like a Diglet, only to catch a couple of bandits, no compliment could ever be satisfying."

All she did apart from her bashing though, was to keep her pointing and bending stance, which appeared to be quite discomforting.

You think you could do anything better!?
These holes were masterfully crafted for the purpose of capturing these bandits in the strongest way possible! Your proposal for taking them down by force was weak and unessisarry, as you can see my plan worked perfectly!

He grinned widely, thinking that he had just thrown down a killing argument. His pride shining through his pores as he obviously tried to copy the girls pose with a "bending pose" of his own, just that he tried to bend a little more than she did, as if to out do her somehow.

"BAHAHAHAH!!"

Saya laughed at Akurei's ingenuity as she kept leaning back, gradually making her head disappear from his sight, showing out the tiny bulk of her modest chest and finally losing her balance. There wasn't anything to worry though, since she knew she had Shinji to back her up, which he did: releasing his own two arms from her back, he stopped her from falling and, at the same time, allowed her to look down on Akurei in a way that he could never look down like.

"Your pitiful attempts at copying the great us will forever be what they are... pitiful!"
"But let's not forget about how your masterfully crafted holes saved the day... oh wait, they didn't! All you did was make yourself a nice little ant farm without a practical place to see the ants nor an easy way to feed them. That's how stupid you are; you are just going to let your pets die! So, apart from being a moron for spending a whole week digging two ugly holes; you are a fan of animal cruelty... You're really are dumbfounded scum, did you know that? You make us SICK!!"

Haruka furrows her brow in agitation. This was not part of the mission, which always annoys her to no end. Admittedly it was amusing at first but now... "It's pointless to argue about it. We got the bandits and all we need to do is turn them in and get paid." She snaps at her two companions, "Mission first, act like you're married later. Chop chop."

Akurai shifted his attention over to the girl Haruka Inoue, his third squad member aswell as the teams medical nin, an action that forced him out of his bending stance. The Girl had joined them from her cover in the forest and started to berate them, however her attempt did not exactly bring the results she had hoped for.

Haru!
As always your dependable!
Your right, bickering, won't lead to anything!

He flashed the girl a smile and a thumps up before turning back to Maki with a snarl on his face.

Ive had enough of your haughty attitude, Maki!
Thanks to Haru, I know what we must do!

Pulling both his hands behind his back, he dragged forth a large scroll he had been carrying on his back, the scroll was majorly white with black borders and the Kuromachi Clan Symbol painted with an almost glowing red color. Normally Kuromachi never used their clan Symbol on anything due to the fact that being recognised as a Kuromachi or a Kuromachi supporter was not exactly good for ones health, yet Akurai would paint them on pretty much anything.

The Scroll Unfurled itself in his hands, its contents revealing itself in a dizzying display of Secret Clan Code symbols, a quck handseal and a red palm letter caused the sudden explosion of grey smoke that rolled down the hill and surrounded the area in a hard to see through fog. A simple but effective sealed jutsu designed to imitate the real thing, it was a battlefield jutsu that benefited Akurai and his figthing style well, the fact that he spent his precious scroll on this ment only that he was serious. Saya could only glimmer a faint outline of Akurai who was pointing in her direction very much like had pointed towards the bandits.

Saya Makino!
Lets settle this argument like men!
Through a fiery duel!

Unfortunately for Haruka's collected and adult-like self, Saya didn't care for what she had to say in the least. The fact that she still felt like Haruka was interested in Shinji was enough for her to not trust her in the slightest the first time they met; and that feeling hadn't cooled down in the slightest from then on. The fact that Shinji would sometimes speak well of Haruka's calm attitude also only made Saya boil further.

She was, seeing as she didn't have a care for either of her and Shinji's partners, obviously still in her same bending position from before. It was as if she looked down on both of them equally, really.

"Shut up slut! I couldn't care anything else about shitty bandits and week old holes... what I care is that you're around me and Shinji! You should stop trying to win him over cause the fact is that we're very much happy together.. and you joining me and," scornfully looking at Akurei ",that dumbass in matrimony doesn't fare well either when you're trying to prove a point... bitch!"

Then, however, Akurai decided to engage in combat with the feisty teen girl. An imitation of Kirigakure's Kirigakure no Jutsu made up by his clan quite possibly. Everyone knows of the issues between Kirigakure and the Kuromachi, and in Saya's point of view it was disgraceful for a clan to copy a method from its enemies; so she laughed. She laughed from Akurei's undying pitifulness. As smart as adults made him out to be, his near-sighted goal of avenging his clan, in his own way of course, only made him dumber. His ambition, so to say, prevented his intellect from rising.

Therefore, she kept bended backwards, teasing the Kuromachi as in stating that he wasn't a threat to her and/or Shinji.

"You say you want to settle this argument like men huh... you should get yourself checked for retardedness cause I'm a woman and you lack the balls to be a man! Attacking a woman in the midst of a foggy area... you might as well rape me while you have the chance. Prick!"

Makis insults did not go through this time, the form she had seen in the fog vanished as he backed away into the fog. Maki knew from the short time she had been the mans teammate that once he started fighting he had a tendency to take it very seriously, if she did't stop fooling around she might actually get hurt.

Right as this thought might have crossed her mind, a Kunai suddenly ruptured the fog from her right flank, sailing towards her throat at a breakneck speed, the swishing sounds that followed in its wake promised shurikens following closely behind.

Akurei's attempts at catching her off-guard were futile. Yes, she may have been clearly and indubitaly off-guard, but he was forgetting about her defense. Her very alive, although almost dead-like silent, defense. This defense... was her blind brother and lover. He couldn't see, but the fact that he couldn't see hightened his other senses; especially his hearing, that he trained in order to 'see the unseen' and protect his sister.

That way, she didn't have to worry about first attacks, especially not from a genin hiding in fog. Noticing Akurei's movement and initial attack, Shinji pushed the ground to get Saya back up and to dodge the first kunai. As she stops bending thanks to her brother, Saya moves away from the shuriken that come after. She moves, however, to the direction her brother tells her to: Akurei's current direction.

Before Akurei has time to think of how Saya found him, she throws a few shuriken ahead of her just before launching a fist to his head.

The sound of clinging metal announced that the Shurikens had been deflected by a Kunai, and then when she moved in to plant her fist in his face she felt another hand move in to stop her strike, however he was only fast enough to slow her punch by a little, the strike landing straight into his jaw, causing his head to rock backward with a thin trail of blood gushing out from his mouth.

However before she could do anything more he dropped down and did a full rotation with his right leg, sending her sprawling backwards to avoid being toppled.

Using this chance he got up and started backing away still facing Maik while weaving hand-signs.

Responding to Akurei's whip of the leg, Shinji extended his hands from Saya's back to avoid her from hitting the floor on her back, hurting herself, while moving his head closer to hers so it wouldn't backlash and hurt her neck. His wrists hurt, but her fist should be hurting much more after punching the Kuromachi on his jaw.

Saya knew that she couldn't let Akurei gain distance between them, especially not when she could see his stance accusing hand-sign weaving. She was a close-combat taijutsu shinobi, while he prefered to keep his distance and think his moves through. Her only advantage was if she kept onto him and didn't let him think about his next move. Therefore, since she didn't fall on the floor thanks to her brother, she balanced herself quite quickly and dove towards Akurei with a kunai in hand and ready to dodge at any given moment anything he had in thought for her.

As Saya approached she noticed something odd shape onto her team-mates face, a smile, a very sly smile. If she realized it or not, mattered very little at this point, Akurai would never give away a surprise to something like a smile if there was even a slight chance to avoid it(mostly).

The ground beneath her feet suddenly gave away, and before she could even fathom what was happening she found herself at the bottom of a deep hole, the walls wet and muddy, it might have struck here then that Akurai had not worked for a week on just two holes, this place was probably a minefield of the things, however any chance to consider this any more than the first reflection was made difficult as she heard the fizzling sound of explosive tags((This is actually just a type designed to knock people out cold, and not an actual explosive)), three burning tags floated down towards her, Akurai himself was nowhere to be seen.

(The hole is deep enough to make jumping out impossible, and climbing is difficult)

An unexpected turn of events for Saya, whose rash nature prevented her to think ahead of even think about the possibility of her colleague to have dug other (many or few) holes in the aforementioned time-span of one week. She also thought too little of him, which may have put some weight into her not thinking he could do more than two holes per week; being the ball-less guy that she thinks of him being. All this despite Shinji having been whispering to her from the start of their struggle about how he found it odd that in a week the guy who's considered a genius had only been able to dig two holes; not mentioning that the probability of Akurei knowing the exact location of where to put the holes at for the bandits to fall in was highly unlikely.

Seeing as how Saya was helpless against ninjutsu and any sort of strategy, actually, due to her brutalistic being, being enclosed in a hole with explosive tags slowly falling down on top of her was something she never even imagined of doing or even of being in such position. All she could see was how she was going to lose to the homo prick. What came next was, again, something she never thought could happen.

Listening to everything that was happening around him, Shinji was attempting to give his sister directions of what to do as well as not to do. He had told her not to go after Akurei so quickly because he might've prepared a trap for her if she came after him, knowing how devious he was with his planning. As they fell in the hole, he started warning her how Akurei wouldn't be satisfied with just trapping her in the hole like with how he did to the bandits. Saya had pretty clearly insulted Akurei, and Shinji knew he wasn't going to let that pass easily, which made him weary of any sounds that would indicate Akurei's next move, and that's when he heard the fizzling sound of the explosive tags floating down.

Knowing that there was no chance of beating Akurei on his own, especially in a deep hole from where he knew he wouldn't get out easily, Shinji did what he knew he had to do to save his sister. Sure, the hole was good for the sound of his singing genjutsu to propagate, but doing genjutsu now wouldn't save them from the explosion that was about to come; and Saya didn't have a quick thinking mind to think of a safe way to escape from the incoming attack.

As such, the next thing Saya sees is most of her brother's body coming out of her humble chest, facing her with the sunlight behind him, creating a shadow over her, and taking the shockwave on his back. This obviously threw both of them against a side of the hole but, while Saya came out of the explosion with a sore back from the impact, Shinji got knocked well outcold. Saya couldn't believe her eyes and stood for a few seconds looking at her brother in disbelief as his body retracted back into her own.

Slowly getting back up, while Shinji heals himself in her body, Saya seems to have lost consciousness. Evident by her tumbling posture, one could see she was in emotional distress, brought to you by the one and only Kuromachi and his devious schemes. All this, followed by a giant burst of eerie chakra bubbling out of the hole they were in; and, as soon as the bubbling chakra stopped, Saya jumped out of the hole and stepped once on the floor just outside the hole (the likeliest area to not have another hole) to get leverage enough to jump on Akurei. Clenching her fist and feinting it towards the same spot she had hit him before, she got her neck muscles ready to headbutt him straight on his chest.

When Akurei heard the tags went off he felt a rush of victory run through his veins, confident he walked towards the hole to see if she was still ok, it was not his intention to hurt the girl, but he would never do something like disrespect his opponent ether, going into things with full-force was his style! Though it might not look like that from the outside..

Huh?

A Word said many times this day, yet, this time it truly was, strange.. Bubbles of chakra were floating out from the hole, and he felt an eerie feeling come over him, as if something was amiss, a dangerous feeling. If it had not been for the fact that he was a Kuromachi, a clan who had survived against all odds for twenty years, he would probably not have realized the danger in time.

Oh Shit..!

Just as Saya emerged from the pit, leaping out of his custom made abyss, he threw himself backwards, landing into a roll that took him far enough away from Saya to create some distance between them, if he had stayed there he would probably have been knocked out, or atleast that was what he had felt from the pit, an incredible killer instinct.

What the hell happened to you?

He did't have much time to look her over, she had not changed much on the outside with expection of some strangely animalistic features, but the aura that she surrounded herself with was brutal, she felt like someone completely different, something evil. As mentioned he did not have much time, for the moment the girl had hit the ground she leapt forward, cruising towards him at an incredible speed.

Uh oh..!

Having no time to dodge, Akurei desperately threw a fan of shurikens towards the human missile, in a desperate attempt at making the thing change its path.

The maniac look emanating from Saya's fast transitioning eyes; not too different from the regular, but still enough to feel a change in them; could probably be perceived easily due to the fact that there was no glow in them. She had more than likely fallen unconscious after Shinji had showed his first valiant effort in who-knows-how-long. The courage displayed by her brother had been oddly unlike himself... a shy, wimpy and coward kid like him, forfeiting his body for the sake of his sister's wasn't something you'd see everyday and, with reason, she had pretty much lost her mind in the events that had passed.

Akurei had desperately thrown a cluster of shuriken to try and stop the jinchuuriki from moving towards him but it was so fast, so unrelentless, so suicidal that it just kept on going. Not that it couldn't have dodged or parried the shuriken due to "Akurei's alleged genius skill", but that it didn't care. It didn't care about physical pain, seeing as that could only be perceived by Saya's latent consciousness. It didn't care if the wave hit the body or not; and why? Because all it could see ahead was a pitiful and weakingly frightened Kuromachi body that stood right ahead of it.

The shuriken flew by... cutting and piercing some parts of Saya's body: mostly upper body and knees due to the jinchuurikis running stance. The hopeless attempt at slowing it down at failed, and now it was coming for the Kuromachi. It knew what the Kuromachi had done too: killing off master's brethren and decimating his hometown. This was a perfect chance for Saiken to kill a Kuromachi and please its master...

No.

It couldn't do that. Master would be mad at it for making a huge fuss on a village like Amegakure, and even madder for killing a Kuromachi without his permission. The death of a Kuromachi would always be popular news. It felt like flushing the crap down the toilet, but the implications were severe: first, the dung wouldn't fit the hole, which would make the water overflow out the toilet; at which point the one who flushed (Saiken) would have to report to master who, in turn, could get it in a very nasty detention. It suddenly became aware of that, the consequences of killing a Kuromachi.

Seeing as it wasn't the best of ideas to kill Akurei, the one in control of Saya's body fled from it's control and retreated back to her subconscious. This caused for the, now, limp and uncosncious body of Saya to run Akurei over due to the momentum it had from when it was possessed. Not that she welcomed the idea but, seeing as she was asleep, she didn't actually have a choice.

As her body crashed into Akurai he blew up in a puff of smoke, revealing itself as a clone as the girl tumbled across the ground. The real Akurai who had been watching from the branch of a nearby tree ever since he had thrown the explosives down into the hole now finally emerged, dropping down and rushing over to the girls unconscious body.

His right eye glowed a soft hue of red, when the girl had emerged looking like "that" his bloodline had reacted instinctively causing his dominant eye to flare with a dangerous red, it was now fading as it had never been his intention to use it, though by the looks of it if she had not for some reason fall unconscious he was certain he would have to.

He stepped over to the girls body and checked on her, he was worried at first if she was dead, causing him to breath out in relief as he found that she was only sleeping, if not a bit torn up.

You really are a monster aren't you?

He laughed under his breath in a ironic manner, he smiled and heaved her over his shoulder and carried her over towards where he guessed his other team-mate would be hidding, in the worst case scenario he would have to carry her all the way back to Amegakure, though after all he had learned he really did not mind.
