He is SUCH a beautifully-rendered character! Even in comparison to most of the other Code Geass characters. His behavior's totally understandable (though not excusable...), thanks to all that crap from his past; and even the most outrageous, demented stuff he does makes perfect sense in context.
I remember when he was first introduced I didn't like him at all (for being utterly evil to Lelouch and Shirley) but after I learned his relationship with CC I had a hard time feeling anything but sympathy for him! That's something truly special! |
