| I don't know if you all already are aware of this, but i think is good doing this topic just to be sure to let you all know. Seems last week there has been an hacker on MAL, which started with bothering people by deleting everything related to some accounts (avatar/profile/posts..) and then decided to pass his time by deleting MAL's forum topics (which include anime discussions as well as club's topics..) I wasn't on last week, but from what i've read in the club's comment, looks like the hacker reached a few of our topics and deleted them as well :/ Now, still last week (i think it was october 5th or 6th), after having seen all that, MAL staff decided to do a rollback on the forum until 2nd october, and this is why if you posted whatever after that day will result as "never posted". So if you aren't sure about ur recent posts being or not deleted (by the rollback) cuz u might not remember the date of your post, just go an check in the current chara obsession/couple topics. If they are not there, just post again. Same goes with the usual weekly category, it was been opened but as anything else it has also been deleted (together all the claims). About the last week's category (as the current week's category) they won't be opened until the another MAL issue will be fully fixed. In fact no topics have been opened yet this week (such as the above mentioned categories or the other monthly obsessions topics like can be voices..) due to a problem with bbcode which is not fixed yet. This problem doesn't let you use spoiler tags, and when you go to edit whatever post, everything will turn messed up with some kind of HTML code. (This doesn't let us any chance to update the lists for example) MAL Staff is already working on this issue, but we don't really know how long it will take, though i think/hope it's a matter of days. That's it. I just wanted to make sure anyone of you was aware of what happened in the past days. Let's just hope the bbcode problem will be fixed soon, the way we can return back to the normal rythm with weekly claims at least~ Ps, message for list updaters: don't update your lists yet cuz would get screwed up by that issue ;_; |

| ok news: seems a part of the bbcode problems are gone, althought when you go to edit a post with the i'll make a try to updating a list, if everything goes fine we'll return to our usual rythms with claims [even starting category today] althought, starting from now (until the last bbcode issue with img tag problem) we'll have to ask you to use the code [url=][/url] for your banner pics, rather than the usual [ spoiler] |
