With one episode to go [from the post anyway]am sure there will be a a season 3 may take a while thou....anyways i wanted more...so i said to myself why not read the light novel the anime is based on?

only vol 1-3.5 is fully translated with a few chapters from 4-6 vol 7 is all most done[one chapter to go]any ways what made me look to the novels was episode 11 i am all for aki x minami so i wanted to know if they get closer in the light novels i havent read vol 7 yet so i dont know if it gos beyond the second season...

but i did find a topic were the translater of vol 7 posted some stuff from vol's 8-9
makes me want season 3 faster...i did find somewhat a anwser to my Q if they get closer seems the LN more hints more of a aki x Himeji [harem really lol] route but as far as the LN goes it does not seem to be ending soon so ill still hope for a aki x minami route^_^

Not too sure how the light novels go...., but the canon pairing from the very, very first episode was Akihisa x Himeji. so its gonna end up in a way that is along that line i believe.

it's hard to say since the anime is so scattered but a guy on bakatsuki broke it down to which episodes cover which volumes

First season:

Episode 1: Half volume 1, half filler.
Episode 2: Volume 1
Episode 3-5: Filler
Episode 6: Me and the Pool and the Swimsuit Wonderland (Volume 3.5)
Episode 7: Me and Shouko and Kisaragi Highlands (Volume 3.5)
Episode 8: Filler
Episode 9: Part filler, part volume 1
Episode 10-11: Volume 1
Episode 12-13: Filler

Matsuri OVA: Volume 2, for both episodes

Second season:

Episode 1: Me and the Seaside and the Festival Uproar (First Half) (Volume 6.5)
Episode 2: Me and the Seaside and the Festival Uproar (Second Half) (Volume 6.5)
Episode 3: Me and My Stupid Brother and a Switch of Classrooms (Volume 6.5) for first part, Baka to Tesuto to Syokanju ～Preparation Chapter～ for second part
Episode 4: Me and Doubt and a Man's Pride (Volume 7.5) for first part, Me and Real Motive and Summoned Beast for second part

Well, some of volume 5 wasn't adapted either but if you want content moving ahead of the anime you can start at volume 8.

Episode 9 for the first season was from volume 5, not volume 1. That episode was when Akira, Akihisa's sister, came back to Japan, which also happens in volume 5. So, besides that episode, all the other information about which volume was part of which episode is correct.
