| As I was making a post, this idea popped into my head.. So do what the topic says.. write as many abbreviations as you can think of. Many times lots of us go WTF (wait, that's an abbreviation too! LOL... oh and that too..O.o) with all these new abbreviations popping up. So let's gather here all the ones we know, from the most common ones till the most weird and new ones! Post as many as you can, but always explain what they mean. Also feel free to ask for someone you saw and you don't know what it means, so others can help you. Each time you post one I'll be adding it in this list you see below, always in alphabetical order, so we can make sort of a helfpul list for people who aren't so familiar with them. I'll start with some very basic ones and feel free to add more. asap = as soon as possible bb = bye bye bbl = be back later brb = be right back btw = by the way cu = see you dld = download FTW = for the win fyi = for your information g2g = got to go gtfo = get the fuck off/out ic = I see ilu = i love you imo = in my opinion (and NOT emo.. this gets misinterpreted :P) irl = in real life lmao = laughing my ass off lmfao = laughing my fuckin' ass off lol = laughing out loud np = no problem QFTW = quote for the win rofl = rolling on floor laughing roflmao = rolling on floor laughing my ass off tbh = to be honest tfs = thanks for sharing thx/thnx = thanks ttyl = talk to you later u = you (lol :P) w/b = welcome back wbu = what 'bout you wtf = what the fuck |

| I usually use "sth" for "something".. and for "download" only "dl" not "dld". For "thank you" there is also "ty". Just saw the "u" for "you" up there xD there is of course also "r" for "are" xD |
