Which way do you prefer Kyouichi's hair?
| Just something pointless and fun! ;) I never really understood why Kyouichi's hairstyle changed partway through the second season - perhaps to emulate his original character design? But I was wondering, which way do you guys prefer Kyouichi's hair in the anime? Take a look at the images below, and then cast your vote above! And feel free to comment. | Oh my - when I began the second season and saw that his hair had changed, I nearly had a fit! :D I couldn't understand the reason myself. I came to the conclusion that his hair styling reflected his personality/attitude - "high and spiky" for season one, when Kyouichi was rather unruly and just gung-ho about everything, and the "flattened and bishie" season two look, when he underwent a transformation of sorts. I dunno. I just prefer his hairdo from season 1. LOL |

| I would say both, but honestly, I prefer them flattened down. Whenever I see a main character having spiky hair the first thing that comes to mind are those main heroes with loud voices, acting all cool, or pretty dump at times, with their loooong friendship speeches and all. So, it's a kind of a ridiculous trauma. I don't like spiky hair and all, not even in real life. So I appreciate the fact that Kyouichi remained cool even after he went all bishonen and I vote for flattened hair!! |
