Quality of the Overall Dub & DVD/Blu-ray
| I just got this movie from right stuff two days ago on blu-ray. I gotta say I was impressed by the amazing quality of the dub and the quality of the release. (Already have seen it twice) The dub is amazing, I personally enjoyed it more than the subbed version I saw. The dub actually made it go into my top 10 and i felt more immersed in the series. I highly recommend the dub, its truly one of funi's greatest works. The DVD/Blu-ray casing are exactly the same. Except for the usual blue small BR case vs the big dvd case. The slip cover is orange. Which kinda miffed me at first because I was hoping for something better. But it has a "orange" texture on the case and is similar to the japanese release. So I was kinda satisfied, and seeing mari on the cover made me happy. For more about the casing go here: http://blog.funimation.com/2011/03/hey-nice-package-evangelion-2-22/ The blu-ray version is really eye-candy in many ways, the main menu is perfect with some nice calming music with dark epic scenes flashing on screen lol The BR sound track is perfect and the 1080p does not look strained or blown up. It is perfect :D Anyway, loved the movie. glad to now own it in my collection. it really deserves a spot there! |

| Yep same here. I just bought it on amazon. Now i have both movies. can't wait for Q to come out. Hopefully this summer it will be out in japan so i can at least watch it subbed. |

| Ha! Highly doubt that... seeing how Japan is at the moment... Be lucky if it comes out in winter or even next spring... |
