Well, Hi!

I'm a pretty.. old?... guy from Sweden.
If 20 is considered old that is, lol. I don't know the average age here.

Anyway, this website is really neat when looking for info and keeping track on animes/mangas, so I figured i'd try out the forums too. :)

I'm not THAT "experienced" with animes and mangas, have seen a few and i'm looking for more that fits my taste.

Favorite manga/anime:
Death Note (Light is my all-time favorite character)
Kaiji
Akagi
One Outs
Bakuman
Cowboy Bebop
Detective Conan

I enjoy suspense, mystery and realism. Slice of life, romance and comedy can be really nice too if it's done right. I want to relate to the characters and the world they're in. I can't relate to characters like the ones from Naruto, Bleach, Dragon Ball etc lol

Anyways, that's me!

You're not old, you're too young, in a world of adult, that is.

Anyway, welcome, Fellow DC fan, enjoy your browsing here at MAL :D

You have pretty good taste except like, and I hate to say this, Caritas I don't understand why you would drop Samurai Champloo. Then again I am a bit biased since Samurai Champloo is like my favorite anime ever.

That's a tough question, was a couple of years ago since I tried it.
I didn't dislike it, but I guess it didn't draw me in enough and then something else came up which made me forget about it.

edit:

I probably should give it another chance, it's made by the genius behind Cowboy Bebop afterall.

I know I mentioned it in a private message, but I highly recommend the manga series Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou, which is the best slice of life comic ever! You get wrapped up in the life of Alpha, a girl robot who runs a coffee shop in a post-apocalyptic Japan, and her friends as well.
YKK is the kind of manga that will make you laugh, cry, rejoyce and even get mad but it will make you fall in love with at least one character,.. almost everyone falls for Alpha to some degree. That robot drives me crazy everyday!
My only regret is that YKK's owner ended the series way too soon in favor of a series that does not have as much charm or likability as YKK. I'm wishing Hitoshi Ashinano will give us a new manga series with likable girls who are a cut above the usual manga/anime girls out there.

Oh right, thanks for reminding me!
I'll have to check that one out.
