| They never got to play Budokan, OR the summer festival on the mountain. Disappoint. Seems to me they have the perfect setup for a third season. New location, possibility for new characters, different aspect of the band when they can go pro. I mean it would have been a bad idea if this was all just the first year, and they had two more years of the same ahead, but that's not an issue. |

| According to the Post on Sankanu Complex, there most likely WILL be a 3rd season at some point. The Story Talks about the Manga will be restarting back up. | They had whole - 26 episode season to actually do something beside drinking tea and stuffing them cakes. Doubt it will change even if they make another 3 seasons ( only university music clubs, if such exist, will be overcrowded and uncle Fender will count another batch of cash from japan). |

| Movie was announced at the end of the 2nd season. Official date of premier is December 3rd, which makes me sad. :[ Manga was announced a few months ago about the reboot, not sure about this date, but this makes me incredibly happy. If a season 3 doesn't air i'll be suprised (and sad) But I wouldn't be too upset if he ended the main story with the movie, and literally rewrote the story with different events and a more complicated complete plot. It would actually be refreshing. But I wouldn't be upset if he just continued the story, either, because yes, as others were saying, they are a band; it doesn't have to be about a school band anymore, the focus could just be on the band itself (Plus the longer this story goes on, the more music will come, and I am NOT going to complain about that) |

| Well,I'm not giving up on that season 3. I just recently saw the new chapters of the manga, with the number of chapters now, plus the new chapters that will come, it should be more that enough for a season 3. BUT, guys, although there are enough material for a new season, we still don't know if theIR BUDGET WILL EVEN CUT IT TO MAKE ANOTHER SEASON. A lot of animes these days, although they have enough story to make a whole new season, they stop making it because of lack of money. But I'm still not giving up on the new season. if they need money to make a new one, I'll donate them as MUCH MONEY THEY WANT HAHAHA!!!!! Though if I do that, I'll start living in a cardboard box with a black cat named Azu-nyan #2 |

| I hope we don't get another season. I think it ended nicely and a finale with the movie is enough for it. It feels like the manga got horribly boring and went downhill as they entered college, but that's just my opinion. It'll probably alternate between Azusa's gang one chapter and then the girls in Uni, either episode by episode or scene by scene. Bleh. |

| I could have sworn that I saw a blog post somewhere with a KyoAni event flyer scan with an anime version of the two new characters from the high school band announcing a 3rd season. But I can't find it now for some reason! ;_; Has anyone else seen this or was it perhaps just a piratical joke? I am really surprised this is the first time i've seen this since the source for it was in November 2011. Starting in the 5th month of the year, perhaps? May? That would make sense. But, because I would think the hype for this would be insane and no advertising even 3 months in advanced, I wonder if this is for something else K-On! related. I wish the picture would include the rest of the flyer image, because this is almost too suspicious for me to believe because of lack of coverage of this image, and lack of any sort of announcement about a 3rd season even when it's 2-3 months away from the Spring season. |

| I notice the stuff about relaunching the manga, though it would probably have been best for the new story to begin with Azunyan entering the new school and finding out what the others had been up to before starting the club again...in reference to the series, I don't think a 3rd season is really that necessary, but what is necessary is an episode or 2 showing them possibly older and finally performing at the budokan which was their aim and what they never actually achieved. (not satisfied with Yui's comment about the school being their budokan at the end -.-) the teacher could also have quit teaching or just works as their manager on the side =P |

| If they make a session 3 its gonna be longer then like 40 ep's or more then 4 sessions cause the drama they have to go through and plus the college stuff they'er in. On top of that, its a little hard just to "let go" to. :( |
