Wow, I never paid that much attention to detail before. You took it to a minuscule level. Nevertheless, it was still pretty good, right? I do, however, feel that the last episode was anticlimactic, more so than either of Dio/Alexs' deaths. But going from what you said, Deusis and Anatoure would then have resided within space? (Judging from the picture, the funnel-thing, it would)

Exile is still a bit fuzzy to me, because they made it out to be some sort of omnipotent and ubiquitous source of power, so I was lead to believe it had to have a materialistic contour to it, as opposed to a colony ship. Is that what it really was?
Mullin + Little miss Deusis was the best pair throughout the series. Okay, maybe Claus/Lavie/Tatiana, but still.

Oh and I probably wouldn't watch season 2, just reading from the reviews alone I'd be bound for disappointment. If you do, however, manage to finish it sometime soon, let me know.

It seemed like most people were there at the end, but the guys looking at the painting acted like they were in separate places. -- From what I can recall, the only thing Exile served as was being a barrier between Deusis (sp?) and Anatoure. (sp?) (these fucking names, lol.) They were fighting in the skies, but before having activated Exile, it was still a barren, snowy-driven wasteland. I'm not sure about how I interpreted the mechanic guys + the painting as well, but I think Claus/Lavie now reside in Deusis. That's not to say that they're gone from the Slyvana (or let alone the face of the earth), though. I think they just miss them.
