| Yui. Her songs were better than Iwasawa's, and Iwasawa's story was pretty terrible. Yuri's story, which was bad enough, was better than Iwasawa. I did not feel any emotion on episode 2 or 3 (whichever was the Iwasawa centric episode), while Yui's episode (episode 10) was pretty much one of the highest points of the show. |
| First off, I'm honestly glad that the staff for Angel Beats! expanded on both characters' background; it renders both of them more lovable and relatable. Initially, I was with Iwasawa totally, but after YuiDeMo busted out Shine Days, the decision became relatively more difficult (seriously, I think Shine Days is one of the best insert songs ever made, I wish it was played live). However, despite Yui's colorful character and touching backstory, I'm still all for Iwasawa if it's a choice between the two; while both characters boast great singing vocals (or realistically speaking, both seiyuus sing really well), Iwasawa's is more polished than Yui's, which (most likely intentionally) is seldom off-beat and off-key. Plus, Iwasawa as a character looks pretty cool, I wish she got more screentime (I haven't caught up with Track Zero so I don't know much about her appearances there yet), I think she would have been a more interesting character if she remained. Oh and despite what I claimed about Shine Days above, I honestly believe that Alchemy is the best insert song ever. It's also my favorite GirlDeMo song. |

| Iwasawa. I like her more as a character and a singer. Yui's cute and funny, but Iwasawa is so cool! :D And I don't really like Yui's voice, except for in Thousand Enimies and Brave Song, but I love Iwasawa's voice. :3 Sorry, Yui! |

| Loved Iwasawa's (Marina) voice. XD. And, her song i like the most is crow song and last song. I like Yui's song too. Especially Ichiban no Takaramono and Thousand Enemies. But i dont know why that Yui's (LiSA) voice is a BIT strange for me. (??) |

| They both had something in vocals the other didn't have. Iwasawa's voice was more mature and smooth while Yui's was more energetic and upbeat. Iwasawa's character was short lived so I can't really compare it to Yui's longer screen time. I disliked Yui as a character but since Iwasawa wasn't all that fun either they tied in terms of character. |

| My vote is for Iwasawa, " My Song" is my favorite and I loved how it came through on screen. But I will say that Yui's voice is amazing also it was hard to choose because "Ichiban no Takaramono" is a very very close second to "My Song" imo |
