If anyone hasn't read the manga I'd highly advise that.
It does certain things better and worse than the anime. Worth checking out.

Aot has the best ova I have ever seen in any anime, they're basically as good as a main story, so I really recommend watching them

especially Levi's story and lost girls when I watched it it totally felt canon.

Tbh the only really good part of the OVA was the one with Levi. The others are meh.

there is no need to watch the OVA, it doesn't add anything to the story rather watch it until you finish the whole series

@TojiFushiguro-_- i don't think OVAs like Ilse's Notebook, No Regrets, and Lost in the cruel world have nothing to add to the main story.

a rewatch isn't necessary, just watch the ova's they aren't necessarily necessary for the story
