Season 1 and 4 but honestly she is a lot better and more like a different character throughout in the manga, which is why I prefer her in it more. Plus I love the mangaka's art style, so yeah there's that.

Also, MAPPA did a far better job than WiT in adapting her characterization imo. I'm always gonna hate WiT for this single thing and for doing the same shit to Levi as well in s3p1.

Mikasa’s entire character arc is just sad. Characters are supposed to get stronger as they grow, but since she was already the best, there was no room for improvement. Only disappointment. “Everyone’s a slave to something” and being a slave to Eren was a total L.

Mikasa's development only started in Final Series after Eren kindly told her to fuck off and it didn't go far anyway. She only shines as a character during action packed scenes, so I guess the big battle at the port was her best moment.
