That‘s a nice idea. I haven‘t thought about it. Maybe they would animate it similiar to the scene where Aqua‘s star-eye turned star.

Chapters 120 to and including 123. I know, recency bias and whatnot, but those panels broke me harder than any previous part of the manga. The actual dialogue was kinda clunky tbh, but the way Mengo-sensei illustrated Ruby's complete breakdown, then the long-awaited mutual identity reveal, and finally her recovery from 40 chapters of PTSD is just goddamn excellent. Like, I won't say I'm not reveling in the absolute crapstorm the ending of 123 caused, but I'd like even the most rabid of Kana/Akane shippers to take a step back and appreciate these two deeply traumatized people finally getting some relief from 3 seasons' worth of trauma, stress and baggage.
