To the people who have watched steins;gate, what did you guys think of it?

I heard that it has some cool sci-fi thing and watched a few eps but couldn't wrap my head around it. i might just be dumb but idk i want to see other people's opinion as well

I watched it just last year and it quickly became one of my favourites ever. I'd definitely finish it if I were you. Yeah, the scientific mumbo-jumbo isn't the easiest thing to grasp but I think you understand better as you watch it (though I have no clue if the actual science and physics behind it all holds up.) I'd say the highlight of the show is the characters and their interactions - especially Okabe, who is easily my favourite protagonist so far.
Admittedly, the show has a very slow start but it does pick up the pace and that's where the best parts of the story come to play.
So yeah, definitely finish it. I really doubt you'll be disappointed.

My absolute fav anime so far, its kind of hard to put into words how many emotions you will feel by the end of the show
