Any other manga like this?

I enjoyed this manga. I liked the dark themes, imagery and introspection that is presented in it. Reminded me of some of my other favourite media like Evangelion, Lain, and Holyland.

It's not perfect, but what do you guys think of Kakusan? Do you know of any other seinen anime/manga that are similar to it or the other stuff I listed above (things that present similar themes/tones/messages)?

I liked Shokuryou Jinrui a lot tho its nothing like the above mentioned ones, it is very dark. if you haven't read it, try it out

@Ubada03 appreciate the recc! after reading some of the reviews it doesnt seem like the type of story im into, so i doubt ill give it a go. but i still appreciate the response!
