| I just wanted to leave everyone with the chapters that were adapted in all of the 3 anime. (Original, OVAs and Motto) since I haven't seen anyone really do it. The first anime is very vaguely adapting Chapters 1 to 48 with mostly filler. The OVAs adapt 100, 73, 93 to 98 and 121, also with a bunch of filler. Now for Motto To-Love Ru which is the one that most closely follows the manga: Motto Episode 1 - Chapters 49, 87, 88, 74 Motto Episode 2 - Chapters 146, 54, 76, 77 Motto Episode 3 - Chapters 120, 109, 106 Motto Episode 4 - Chapters 61, 105, 108 Motto Episode 5 - Chapters 81, 85, 137 Motto Episode 6 - Chapters 113, 114, 70, 80 Motto Episode 7 - Chapters 45, 123, 64 Motto Episode 8 - Chapters 156, 43, 44, 139 Motto Episode 9 - Chapters 130, 152, 153, 154 Motto Episode 10 - Chapters 129, 147, 155 Motto Episode 11 - Chapters 157, 158, 116, 117, 118 Motto Episode 12 - Chapters 119, 159, 161, 162 I recommend reading the manga and afterwards watching or skipping through some episodes you don't like, just to see them animated. The anime skipped way too much, one of them being the whole overarching plot about the flower that was one of my favorites! The only episode that truly follows the correct timeline of events is the very last episode (after the opening), so in the end this just to watch stuff animated. The manga is colored until chapter 124 (out of 162) which is pretty cool. I focused on watching the anime mostly after those chapters. |
