| Bleed_for_me: The club requirement is 3 or more girls that are in love/like/physical relation with one guy, and by love/like, it does not include non-romantic feelings such as parental/sibling. To the dismay of some, we don't pose any further restriction so having crazy twists or not doesn't matter. Correct me if you think I am wrong, but Higurashi has at best, 2 girls (Rena and Mion) that likes Keichi. The third possible girl, Satoko shows sibling feelings rather than romantic towards Keichi. Rika is just friends and Shion likes a different guy. As for B Gata H Kei, I can only see Yamada and the childhood friend as part of his harem. The third girl (Yamada's competitor) may potentially be one if she finds out his relationship with Yamada, but until then, I can't see a third one. It looks like a harem at the beginning (it is an all-girl school), but development tends to lend towards shoujo-ai over straight relationships. How many episodes does a series or OVA need to be on the list and why is there that limitation? If its a harem shouldn't it be on the list regardless if it is just a movie, a 1-4 episode OVA or even a hentai? Harem club does does implies anime and mangas with a harem theme in it. |
| I understand your point of view, but this was the outline I worked with when I joined. From what I gathered, it was our intention to keep the club list as concise as possible. Rather than cluttering the list with tiny little series, we would rather have list of the bigger ones. Generally 1 season (11-13 ep) is expected ,though I probably will take anything longer than 2-3 hours (longer than a long movie basically). This can perhaps be more obvious if you look at manga. There are hundreds of doujin and one shot that can go on the list. However if we do, most people who are looking for series won't find what they want. Similarly for anime, we believe that a majority of our members or potential members are more interested in longer series. Hentai is a different issue altogether. We have general conscience of keeping this club safe for under 18. We made a slight compromise earlier in allowing a separate list for borderline cases. So in short, we can't satisfy everyone. Everyone has different expectation of what a club as general as ours is like. I would like to believe it evolved to its current state base on general conscience. SolitarySoul is currently hosting a thread for club improvement. In the past, I would host a poll for these sort of problems. However, since the 'send to all' message system no longer exists, its difficult to get even 20 votes. |

| In all honesty, very few people actually check this thread and even less are willing to reject an recommendation. If you want an opinion, you are better off getting it from the club comments. The primary purpose of this thread is so that we don't forget the recommendation of regular members and to avoid stealth removal of something on the list (there was a point where stuffs on the list magically disappears without anyone noticing until some random new member point it out). |
| I vote for MM! and Seitokai Yakuindomo to be added. I negative vote on Seikon no Qwaser since only the red hair girl really liked the main the rest were all seperate relations. I also negative vote for elfen leid since only the cousin and the red haired one like the main the pink one just lived with them. |
