Feedback would be appreciated.

The spacing in your animelist's hover animation is like seriously bugged.

Yeah I see but I don't have a clue to know how to fix that, I'm a total noob at ccs editing I just learned like 3 days ago.

I finally finished a new list layout. I did most of it awhile back, but just added in some fancy stuff recently. What do you think? =3

looks really neat, I LOVE the colors! :)
the only thing I don't like that much is that the font gets bigger when you scroll over it (but that's probably what you wanted to do, so...)

Yep, and after the 2 hours I spent managing to fail at making it do that, it's staying for good. xD

Yeah, looks amazing. Love the artist for the header. *-* I agree with what Endelerius said about long titles cut off. Also, you might want to smooth the edges of the rounded corners on your header.

Didn't really know what I should do with the design so I just did something really simple. The only thing that's probably worth mentioning is that my banner image changes if you refresh it as it's on a rotation. Might add more things to it later but I can't be bothered now ^^''

Yea so … I was wondering.
When I started testing out these list styling thingys when I registered, I was able to create a list style and then edit it. The problem is, I can't seem to find where I did this. I've been looking all over the "edit profile" section, but I can't find anything that says something like "create new list style".
Or is it because you can only create a maximum of 2?

Figured I'd show off my finished project.
Simple and plain. (I'm not big on vibrant color either.)
http://myanimelist.net/animelist/Ber53rker

It felt like a puzzle at times trying to effect some elements.
With the hidden limitations, it's more difficult than I anticipated.

It looks good, but add some left-padding on watching, completed etc. to line up with the #.

You can only make a maximum of 2 unfortunatly. So if you should save your codes on a notepad or something if you want to try out different ones.

Ah ok so my suspicions were correct. Well no biggie, it's that much of a detour to change the list.

Does it have to be so wide? It's fine on a smaller sized window/screen, but when you stretch it out it becomes quite the bother to go from left to right the entire time to check what scores you gave. A max width of 960px should be wide enough. That's my opinions anyways.

It's 99% finished, just need to fix that 1 pixel difference in Safari & Chrome. Maybe add some sort of background to the .status_(not_)selected.
Any feedback welcome, let me know if you spot any errors!

D: wow, looks amazing ^^" just one thing, then hovering box with anime title all list jumps ~1-2px down. I dont know if you wanted to do so but it somehow I guess doesn't fit into that style.

I mean this part (same and with .td2) :

.td1:nth-child(2) {
color: #d3775a; }

.td1:nth-child(2):hover {
border-bottom: dotted #a99981 1px;
border-top: dotted #a99981 1px; }

I guess if you just add ~transparent borders and in unhovered element that would be better... Just my opinion..

Anyway all list looks awesome and so cool ^^ great job!

Thanks!
And about that, I've noticed this too, but only in Safari & Chrome, Firefox doesn't seem to have this issue. Anyway, I didn't think it was that big of a deal because it's only (like you said) 1-2px, so I let it slide.
I'm working on a new design since I've got some free time on my hands and am just aching to make something new! That also might solve the problem :p

Well here is mine (.___.") >> anime list.

Not fully done but it's too heavy and with a lot of bugs so I doesn't feel like keep making it...

Lets start from what is bad:
* does not support IE at all
* transition seems to be bugged on Opera
* "Opera Killer" (Looks like opera showing too much effort to load this style D: my phone load it faster >_> ~ maybe it's just to me)
* very heavy / too much unnecessery code
* laggy
* annoying header
* list gets messed if you use search (it happens when search results are not from one category << nightmare >> )
* list get messed if you go to All Anime category (it's hidden but still)
* tested just on my screen size (ratio 4:3 i think xD)
* have not tested how it looks for other peoples
* too lazy to log out (_~_,)..zzZzZZ
* Looks like can work just with the same list settings as mine (forgot that you can change what to show xD)
* Find everything else by yourself xD

Good points:
* good expierence for the next list style? xD

Should work best on Chrome since it's looks ~fine (^^") to me...

Works fine for me. Try to reload cache, etc.

@ushiopix:
I don't know what to say. This list is just... amazing! Let me set it as my homepage. *o* I wanted to make some picture list too but I have no idea how to not copycat other lists. >_<

Tested on Chrome, Firefox and Opera. (Yeah, small bugs for the last one) Resolution: 1440x900. Works fine. ;)

lol css file is uploaded on a mobile site that might be the problem but it never happend to me xD I'll upload it somethere else when I'll be in a mood + make sure you have updated your browser...

And that loading problem maybe is because anime covers css since it's from 4500 lines xD (1 anime 1 line ) so it take some space.

btw, ty guys ^^ pls report if something is really messy D:

@ushiopix: I found a working proxy and i can see it now. Yeah. It looks Great.

though i would suggest if you use a simple background. right now background picture is blending with other images, or maybe if you use a white transparent background color around anime columns, or that orange border on hover can be set as default. I think that will make it more good. just a suggestion.

@Han-yuu , thank you and I'll think about that.

That's true that background image is bending with other images but it's not that hard to change, it's more like tamplate now ^^"

What do you mean by set as default? O.O you mean that these border will always be showed no matter you hover them or not? (sry bad at english .____. )

And I wont do it transparent. I just dont like too much transparent things and I like white color xD

Ty, again ^^,

Yes, set orange borders as default, so it can separate those boxes from background. It won't look as blending as its looking right now. You can choose another color for hover.

p.s: css file host is still not working for me and that working proxy is dead. :) so i can't look at it again.

Ushi, your pics has a medium quality at the base. Try to find a high quality pics ( save it with 90-95% jpg quality. It would be good for his weight [about 200 to 500 Ko should do the trick]).

Nearly completed a Gintama theme with animated rollover
I just need to find nice illustration for titles

Hosting is slow so images are a bit long to load

Let me know if it's broken on some browser (no animation for IE)

Nice design! Really like how sadaharu "drags" the list up haha. I use chrome and although it didn't take long to load the images but it's sorta laggy for me when I am scrolling it.

Also I have been editing my mangalist latley http://myanimelist.net/mangalist/Eucliwood, it's almost finished, there's still some areas needing change.

Real nice design, I had no problems with loading/lagging, so you're good.
Also, great job on making a dark & light template. People who know crap about css can have a nice looking list now.

Also a cool design :D
That random background does have the tendency to load a bit slowly (2/3 times), but it looks great!
Maybe change the color of the # column to a blue one? Might look better, might not … :p

I've also been using my manga list as a test ground for my new list style that I've been making.
Since I have no manga entries, I've made it private.
Here's an update on my previous post

Still a long way to go though. Only "finished" the header and the background tile so far.

Nice. I Didn't thought to overwrite Default MAL CSS for the black header as it were on a external style sheet.
A php script for random BG image is a nice idea.
What is [class^="t"] I don't know this kind of selector.
I should also combine td1 & td2, I dumbly edited the stuff 2 times :)

I like this template, it's nice :)

@Endelerius :

It seems good, i really want to see when it finished :)

@LuckyStrike-Rx :

[class^="t"] is a css3 selector. It means, select all class beginning with 't'.

You can find the other css3 selectors here : http://www.w3schools.com/cssref/css_selectors.asp

Finally completed my Totoro themed list. The original plan was to make the list surrounded with leaves, but for some reason Chrome stopped loading the leaves that were supposed to be at the sides. It made me so dispirited I put it on hold for quite awhile, haha.

Best viewed on Google Chrome. It's not meant to be viewed on IE (god, is there people who still use it?).

(thou it's the same design for both lists. lol)

I have two questions regarding the .category_totals.
First: This is what the text looks like in the html,
Chapters: 189,
Volumes: 36,
Days: 1.80,
Mean Score: 7.0,
Score
So is there a way to use a selector to only select (for instance) Chapters: 189?

Second: Is is possible to change the text of (for instance (again)) Chapters to Ch?
