Nope. There are some conventional sweet slice of life moments amidst all the chaos, tho. But that's it.
You shouldn't trust people on the internet.

This is a chaotic, batshit insane and exaggerated slice of life. But it's all so very aware. The title literally reads "My Ordinary Life" after all.

I didn't find this to be a heartbreaking or sad story. And as for humor there isn't much but it is just so much wholesome and relatable, it really feels like the things I used to do when I was younger

Sad story? I have watched it and I love it but I don’t see any sad arc in the series. I would say it’s so cute and adorable and peaceful. 👍👍

The first couple of 'Introductory episodes' were pretty slow too imo, but once I realised what the show was I really enjoyed it. Not saying 'you don't get it' or anything, but give it a chance, if you like absurdism, SOL or even just comedies in general you may enjoy it, even if episode 1 left a sour taste in your mouth.
