The first Anime is pretty bad. Art style is weird and story wise doesn’t follow the manga that much. Motto To Love-Ru & Darkness are much better because the drawings (Art style) are more refined and follow the source material. If you don’t like it you should just drop it because it (The 1st Season) doesn’t really get any better.

Actually, IMO it got good at 2nd season. At Darkness it's at it's best.

most of the season is filler only 1-3-6-11-17 are filler mixed with canon

I never watched To Love Ru 1st season, i suggest you must watch To Love Ru Darkness because it’s better. Momo got promoted into Deuteragonist (2nd MC) while Lala and Haruna demoted into Suppporting Characters. Momo and Yami character arc are better

This is really important...
The first season is pretty boring because it just rito and lala with a bit of Sayuri. And in random episodes they'll be a new character. I was rewatching just recently and realize that that first season was pretty bad u should watch the s1 ovas the watch to love ru darkness because that season is great mom and nana (lala's sisters) just add so much to the show and make it soooooo much better. Really if j wanna watch to love ru like others are saying its just filer so watch ep 1,2,9, then the last few. Episode 9 is where lala's dad comes in right or is it 10. Basically the last few episodes fit together while the rest are basically filler. If u don't like this season at all skip straight to darkness its WAY better.

Same - 1st series isn't great....

Watch Season 1's OVA's, Season 2 + OVA's and Darkness and you're not missing much (apart from fan service).

You could just watch the OVA's and Darkness for peak TLR.

The body-swap episode was good..

It doesn’t. The whole show is a status quo sitcom with hot girls and ridiculous fan service. You can drop after the first episode

A lot of people are very split on what parts of the series are better personally i like the first season better than darkness while the second season had better fan service it but ruined the fun upbeat vibe the first season had with its good comedy and lovable characters but in to love ru darkness instead of being a romantic comedy like in the first season it felt like a bad harem drama but that is just my opinion if you want heavy ecchi and don't care about comedy just skip to the second season and it will make the same amount of sense it would have if you watched the first season because they skip some of the events in the manga so the second season doesn't really make much sense anyway but people still like it better just because it has boobies

The “Motto to love ru” and ”to love ru” seasons are pretty much all filler lmao but then when you get to darkness and darkness 2 it starts to follow an actual plot.
