| That's really nice, as this series is really enjoyable. The characters dialogues and quirks are super important for the enjoyment of this one, so I hope they will invest in talented seiyuu to voice them. Also I missed the fact that JNC licensed that a few days ago? Great choice JNC, bringing top level stuff to the west. I wonder if the anime will go far enough to introduce Yao and En'en. I think they appeared for the first time around vol 5-6(IIRC?) so it's possible if it's a two cour I guess. I suppose Chue has no chance in hell to appear since she's new with vol 9, but I really hope we get to see the Yao/En'en duo animated (and more importantly, voiced) so hoping for a two cours, definitely. |

| So apparently that was a hoax, no news since then unfortunately. I hope it' ll get an anime eventually, with good seiyuu. In the drama CD, Maomao was voiced by Aoi Yuuki, I don't mind them changing for the anime, but someone top level like that for the full of quirks protagonist would be wise. If anime ever happens, that is. |

| Based on the reception it gets currently, that is the sales for all three versions of the story (LN, and both versions of the manga), an anime is pretty much inevitable at this point. The question is when. Personally, it probably has been greenlit internally already, but not announced publicly because sorting out the financial investment partners will take a while as this series is likely blow up big when actually animated, because it is already so big in Japan. Given that the drama CDs have been produced at this point, I really think that pre-production of some sort (very preliminary stuff like the Production Committee probably have not settled on an animation studio yet) may even have started. Looking ahead, the earliest would be Fall 2022 or may be Spring 2023? Spring 2022 will be very tight, they would need to be a lot further into production and an announcement would need come in the next two to three months. If there are future news for an anime being greenlit, it is probably best to cite a proper Japanese source. For example, a website for the actual anime. |
