| I hear that the movies suck just as much as the second season did. But I wanna watch the third season because I somehow still have hope for the series because it really is cool in concept. I don't wanna sit through a two hour long movie plus 3 one hour long movies if it isn't absolutely necessary. I'm guessing that it is, given that this series is listed as a sequel to them, but I just wanna make sure. |

| the movies are no where close to as bad as s2 I havent even seen anyone imply that, they are lightyears apart, its more the first film is servicible and then the 2 after that are pretty good And supposedly they will be important we just dont know how much, the 3rd one absolutely was direct set up. |

| I have watched the first two. Seemed nice. A nice side story in movie 1 and a side story from the past (background) for one character in movie 2. I rrealized though that I missed a lot of info from season 2. I forgot completely about Aoiyanagi who seems to have played a role in season 2 and appeared in the flashback background story in the 2nd movie (Case 2). I only can remember season 1 because of Kogami and Makishima Shougo. I might read up on season 2 and the movie to refresh my memories. Might depend on which chars are present in season 3 and how much they refer to previous stuff but I doubt those movies are getting important. |
