No. it's a movie in Japan but crunchyroll has broken it up into smaller parts.

The movies were literally announced as "three films of four episodes each", so it was always a series that was being released on cinemas, not movies being re-edited to become episodes.

First time I see MAL messing it up.

And now? Will they transfer the users entries of those that watched to here? What about number of episodes for each entry and how did the user list it as completed? Total mess.

actually if you watch it on cinemas, it looks like a full usual film made for cinemas. one opening song, the two-hour film, and then one long, credit title. but for streaming and bluray purposes, the film is edited into four 25-minute episodes each (xebec did this with uchuu senkan yamato). it's not crunchyroll that cut up the films.

yeah its kinda weird to count it as a movie when its released as episodes outside of japan. But atleast it was split into 4 parts so I can keep track of it.

So if I get this correctly, if I watch all the episodes on Crunchyroll I would say I completed Ginga Eiyuu Densetsu: Die Neue These - Seiran 1 and and Ginga Eiyuu Densetsu: Die Neue These - Seiran 2, it is basically 9 episodes which are the two movies. Am I getting this correctly?
