| I've done a lot of searching, but I've failed to find Japanese subtitles for this series. Or subtitles in any language, actually. I know English subtitles exist up to episode 20-something. But I'm searching for subs of the entire series. In any language. Doesn't matter what language. This is probably a long shot, (I'm not sure anyone will even see this?) but if anyone can help me, that would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. |

| I've seen 31 episodes with English subtitles, but had to pause it there, which irks me something fierce because now dozens of episodes in I'll have to have this series paused indefinitely, possibly for years to come. And unlike every other series on my On Hold or Dropped lists, it's not from dissatisfaction or disinterest in watching, but simple unavailability. Although I believe 26 of the episodes I watched were with Japanese audio and 5 with Finnish audio, but all had English subs. I couldn't/can't watch either Japanese or Finnish raw (I mean, on Japanese I might understand a little bit and the common phrases, but it wouldn't be enjoyable or coherent enough at all). |
| I know this thread is old, but I just want some clarification: has the entirety of the Japanese dub for Moomins ever had English subtitles? I could've sworn I've seen links for the show fully subbed. |

| I would just watch it in Finnish, but I’ve grown so attached to the Japanese voice cast. Plus, the audio recording is awful for the Finnish dub. I’ll probably have to settle with English. |

| @zippatias Sorry, I may have misspoke in the original post. Are you after Japanese subs? i.e hirogana/kanji at the bottom of the screen? What I meant to say is, I found the Japanese dub with English subs. |

| @zippatias Sorry I couldn't be of help, but I'm sure the Japanese subs would be out there somewhere. Not too versed in Moomin home releases, but I would assume there were subs on the Japanese DVDs/VHS. I would image they'd be pretty good for learning Japanese, considering how simple the Moomins dialogue is. |
