I suppose this isnt the most creative topic, but, of the two ideas what do you prefer? Aoi with Tatsuma, or with Kisaragi? o.O I can't personally decide myself, but I think Kisaragi probably should have her, though the last two eps with Tatsuma were cute too x_x

I prefer Aoi with Tatsuma.

I like Tatsuma+Kyouichi....

well any of the two is good to be paired with aio they both like a knight in shining armor and they were really cool but i think the best for aio is still TATSUMA...

I don't get into the character pairings, and I'm not one for romance, but I didn't get the impression that Aoi and Tatsuma were into each other like that. They were close because they're so similar - both are quiet, respectful, and have huge, open hearts. Aoi had a crush on Tatsuma for a time, I think, after they shared their past scars, but you can tell it dwindled. I see a close friendship, built on empathy and understanding, but not a romantic relationship.

As for poor Kisaragi, I don't think Aoi would be romantically involved with him. It's tragic because Kisaragi really does pine for her, but it's definitely not reciprocated, in that manner anyhow. Kisaragi's attachment to Aoi is deep and rather psychological, and it's one of the reasons I like him so much. It's sad.

In my opinion and judging from the character development within the anime, Aoi and Kyouichi belong together. They clearly have feelings for each other, as mixed as they may be, and I feel that each is exactly what the other needs. Aoi needs to toughen up and realize the world isn't all rainbows and gumdrops, and Kyouichi needs that settled gentleness and to let his guard down. Opposites attract, after all.

I toght Tatsuma and Aoi should be together. <3

Anyway, though I feel sorry for Kisaragi, I think Tatsuma suits her better.

In the game, Aoi would go best with Kisaragi. He's eternal devotion is kind of implication and something that can turn into a budding romance. But for the anime, I don't like her with Tatsuma. Like hlwar, I see her with Kyouichi, or maybe it's because of my fan girlish desire to be with Tatsuma, I refuse to see any pairings, including Aoi, with him. xD

Oooh! Is there really implications of Kisaragi pining for Aoi in the game, too? I was under the impression Kisaragi was not at all a major character, and (just like in the manga) had pretty much no involvement with the Magami kids... Needless to say, in the manga Kisaragi does not look twice at Aoi, and could care less about her safety.

Yeah, it is so evident that Kyouichi and Aoi like each other in the anime version - even Tatsuma knew it; how many times did he give Kyouichi that tiny, all-knowing smile, or question Kyouichi regarding his feelings and treatment of the "princess"?

Unfortunately though, Faint-Dream, you'd have to fight off Aoi for Tatsuma in the manga...

aoi x tatsuma no doubt. they both share things incommon and come on kouichi's to average also hangs out with fags and dont get me started with kisaragi he to much of a little bitch he doesnt have the balls and thinks of her as his master.

I think Aoi x Kisaragi [yes in that order] pairing is quite S&M. Aoi is a yandere, yandere I tell you. And considering poor Kisaragi-chan is her butler/bodyguard of sorts, he'd probably get butt-secks'd.

In the anime I think they have some things in common. For starters, both are very traditional, and come from traditional families (although I doubt the Kisaragi clan is as wealthy). Actually, I wouldn't have been surprised if their families did an arranged marriage, considering how long her father and his grandfather knew each other! Personality-wise and having been raised the same, I think Aoi and Kisaragi have the same personal inhibitions and restricted temperments: quiet, reserved, proper, professional.

Also, let's not forget that Aoi was his first true love; and she obviously cares about Kisaragi as a lifelong friend because she did make the effort to find and repair the bracelet she gave him in their joint childhood.

There's common ground, and a history together. Still, it's so obvious that she isn't romatically attached to Kisaragi. And I think, should he ever actually win her favor, Kisaragi might find they are not meant to be, that his was merely devotion spawned from her empathy and sympathy, not exactly romantic love.

I think they may be too similar, and when you have too much in common, I agree, it would be super boring. Which is also why I cannot see Aoi x Tatsuma - their personalities are waaay too close; I don't think they'd ever have dialogue together.. and in their 40s, they'd probably start bickering very badly. o_O

Aoi a yandere? I'd peg her more of a Yamato Nadeshiko; yandere I'd reserve for Marie Claire. Although Aoi does become a psycho-madame in the one CD drama... XD

you make a good point but who wud that leave her with? kouichi hes to boring plus all he does is talk shit to her and tell her shes weak what would they talk about nothing.plus hes too average nothing special bout him.plus in the anime whose the one to save aoi
tatsuma.
