| I figure I should post about this sooner or later, as I've been playing it since the beta. Empire Avenue is a Virtual Stockmarket of sorts. Its kind of a combination of game and social networking site, which can work with many styles of play. I'd do a big writeup on this, but its been picked up by The Guardian: Full Article.
