Geologists say that this lake was formed when a meteor hit. During low tide, this lake has three sets of shoreline, two of which are found as rings within the lake. During high tide and rain, these naturally occurring rings are covered by the water. The pier is a nice place to sit and watch the sunset.

Sarah arrives with Watson in hand and sits on the pier. She leans her head on his shoulder as she watches. After a few minutes pass, she smiles as she sees it. The lake was illuminated orange by the sun. The black lines in the water were the shadow of the waves. The Trees arranged in such a way that the light from the sun reflects off the glossy leaves. This made the trees all around glimmer in the evening light, and the lake shine with the sun's glow. The Dragonflies all dance around, their shiny chitin and wings reflecting this glow, making them appear as fairies dancing on the lake. She watched this display, awestruck by its surreal beauty. It was as if they had crossed worlds in this twilight hour. Its so... beautiful... She continues to watch this for another thirty minutes as the sun sets. Then, as the transitional darknes sof dusk envelops the area, Sarah and Watson are greeted by the cool of night. The stars also relfecting on the lake as they seem clearest now.

But as Sarah and Watson looked up at the sky to admire them, they would see a Rupture happen. The ominous void-light and wave of Xera Particles, then finally the sound of a deep and unsettling horn. The rupture closed, and something fell out of it. She couldnt quite make out what it was, since it was too dark. But it hit the water in the center of the lake, and she would look out and say to Watson. Something just fell into the lake. Did you get a good look at what it was? She asked, hoping it wasnt anything bad. If it was a Reaper, that was fine. Since she and Watson could easily dispatch something so weak.

With Lu falling into the void, she screams as she falls through. After that, she would feel a breeze of air hit her skin as she fell into the lake. She swims up as she tries to get her breath. She looks around for the nearest place to swim to and proceeds to swim towards there. After that, she would lay on her back catching her breath, but at the same time asking herself where she was. She gets up and looks around observing her surroundings. For sure, she knew that there wasn't a place like this back in her old world, or her world before that. However, she doesn't go as far as to thinking she jump worlds again since she might need to die in order to do so. Still she decides to rest as she just took a big fall into a lake with no sense of direction of where to go.

Arriving to a new zone, which Watson have never had been before, he simply followed Sarah's lead. As they both sat down ont he pear he felt Sarah's head resting on hs shoulder, placing his arm around her back holding her by the waist and also holding her hand whit is other hand they stood there, watching the sun set on this forsaken world. The view was amazingly breathtaking, as he saw the sun reflecting on this unusual format lake. Looking at Sarah as she spoke, he saw the orange glow that the sun was giving towards her golden eyes, making them shine even more than they usually do, an insane color. He remembered how lucky he was to have her here. Thank you for showing me this." resting his head against hers as she did the same. The night fell down but they kept there, stooped in time, as the starry night filled the lake with white dots like a big mirror, reflecting the night. Watson loved this time of the Day, the darkest time.

Something unusual happen, a rupture, a hole in the sky, interrupting the view making something fall from it. Watson ability of being able to see in the dark, he noticed a body faling down from the hole to the lake, creating waves towards them. It didn't make big waves, it was not a big creature. The shadow looked very human like. He sloly stands up to see if he could clearly catch what it was, and it was swimming towards the coast. "It doesn't look like a creature, it looked like a person. Come let's make sure what it is." he stands up, giving is hand to help Sarah to follow him. Preparing his spear as he left the pear to the coast, walking around it. He could see a humanoid form with a clear colored hair, but it was with its back tot hem. Pointing his spear towards it he asked. "Who are you?"

She drew her sword, but didnt go as far as to point it at Lu. Her sword was then enveloped in a pale blue fire. He held the broad-side of her flaming blade towards Lucifer. He made sure it was only close enough to illuminate her. Of course Lu would feel the cold from the flame, but it wasnt freezing. She looked at Lu and deducted that she was not a spawn. She smiled at this and stood up. She pushed Watson's spear up. Mainly so Lu wouldnt have a spear in her face for very long. I have never seen a human fall out of a Rupture. Its best we maintain our guard. But I think we are fine. She would whisper this to Watson. Then she would speak to the girl. Are you hurt? That was a pretty big fall. She held out her hand to help Lu up. Of course she was prepared to disembowel Lu if she ended up loosing it and attacking them, because then they would assume her to be corrupted.

On the floor, Lu notices two people confront her. It was a blonde haired boy and a gray haired girl, both she didn't know of. The guy asked who she was, with Lu slightly annoyed by how he didn't introduce himself first. "That's rude, asking someone who they are before introducing themselves." she said to the guy with an annoyed tone of voice. The girl on the other hand was nicer than the guy who straight up asks Lu who she was. Lu would take the girls hand and pull herself up with it. "Yeah I'm fine. I've taken worse hits before." she told the girl. She then looks around for a moment to as she asked herself once again where she was. She looked at the two and fixed her hair. "Uhm, where are we exactly?" she asked. She wanted to know since she needed to report to her guild as soon as possible.

Watson slightly confused on how humanoid she looked, she steeped back as Sarah moved forward lowering Watson's spear, he nodded as she whispered to him. "In a world like this, I call it "safety measures".", placing his spear back on his back. Watson's shadow moved from behind him to his front, but still on the ground, completely defying the normal laws. If something was to happen, he would be ready. "Ringlake Crate, around the City of Eru." he answer to her question, still keeping a safe distance. He did notice that she was taking a more liking of Sarah so he did try not to interrupt, since it looked like Sarah was better for diplomacy, for now.

She added the location relative to her surroundings. Northern Reianne Forest. Leading to the Sea of Heretics. She looked around. It was night, so they would become a lot more active. The Spawn would be coming out in mass now. But for the time being, they seemed like they were in the clear. My name is Sarah. Sarah Malion. Whats yours? She kept an eye on the waters. When they started move around more, she would know its time to go. The Reapers in the lake are nocturnal. So they should be waking up right about now. She made sure not to sheathe her blade. She was prepared if they were attacked.

The guy then states that he only did what he did for "safety measures". Lu pouts as she faces away from him. Her first impression of him was that he sounded rude. Even if he said something about this world, Lu still believes that this is the same world before she as pulled in by the rupture. "Hmph, whatever." she said to the guy. The guy and girl tells Lu where she was. Both of the locations were not known to her since these are otherworldy locations, but she wouldn't know that since she still believes she is still in her old world. The girl would then introduce herself as Sarah Malion and asked for Lu. "Now this is how you ask for someones name. Take notes boy, Sarah knows what she is doing." she said looking at the guy with a smirk, possibly trying to annoy the guy. She then looks back at Sarah to introduce herself. "Lucifer Killia. You could just call me Lu if you want." she said putting her hand on her hip. She would then look over at the guy and points a finger at him. "Now for your name." she asked.

Watson giggled when he knew that this Lucifer didn't like him that much, as she showed her very "aggressive" attitude towards him. Well it didn't bother him that much. Not even a "thank you" from her, now Watson was wondering who was the rude one in the scene. He didn't verbalized it, he didn't want to create any kind of problems now. The night was quickly falling down, too quickly. His eyes quickly detected the odd change of the color, it was not simply dark, it was dark red. As their shadows whiten with the night falling, he also noticed their reddish shade, just like the color of his spear. As he heard Luficer talking, criticizing his way of acting, he simple responded "Hm...funny...", he looked up in the sky towards the moon, it was red, just like it was bleeding. "Watson.". He noticed how the water started to become restless, as the nigh became more red. His shadow shifted towards the lake, still on the ground, just in case.

She narrows her eyes at you both. Hey. Get along you two. Its getting late, and if we are attacked, I cant have you two bickering over who goes first. Got it? Its very dangerous out... here... She trailed off as she looked at the waters. They were stirring, and she knew what this meant. Or at least she thought she did. She would warn Lu and Watson. Guys, we need to go. I think they are waking up... She wasnt prepared for what happened next. As she saw the monster begin to emerge, she made sure to grab Watson, and Lu's hand and ran into the woods, hiding behind a tree before it could see them. She wanted to see what kind of Spawn this was, and then would go to report it. She would take out her phone and begin recording the monster's emergence.

A massive claw reaches out of the water and tried to grab a hold of the pier. The claw looked like a Reaper's claw but it was slightly different in shape. It failed miserably and that portion of the pier collapsed into the water. The claw fell back in with it and the ripples of the water showed the thing aiming for dry land. As it reached Dry Land, two claws emerged from the water, and pierced into the mushy ground. It stumbled a little to pull itself up, more often dragging pieces of the shore into the waters. Eventually, it began to pull itself up out of the waters. It managed to pull out two more pairs of Reaper-Like claws, and then it completely emerges. Its has a long, thick, eel-like body, with six slender and chitin-covered arms just behind its head. This creature seems to use them to walk, much like a Reaper would. On each of these arms, it has a 12-foot long curved blade just past the creature's wrist instead of hands. Its long tail halfway submerged, but judging from the angels and shape, it can be assumed that this creature is about twenty meters in length.

It looks around and doesnt see any humans nearby with its two large, glowing eyes. Mainly because its hearing is shit, and Sarah pulled the two away. It looks up at the blood moon and lets out a deep, bellowing roar. It then used its blades to crawl out of the area and into the forests surrounding the lake. Its tail was actually about thirty meters from its head. And splits about halfway down into two tails. These tails each had a long, metallic spike at the end like most reapers do. Since this had been Lu's first time encountering a spawn, its jet black skin and red eyes alone would probably invoke some level of fear in her. But with the sheer size, shape, and roar it made, this was certainly something she would remember.

Lu hears that the guy say "funny" which slightly confuses Lu, but she just assumes that it was used as an insult. She was about to say something, but the guy introduces himself first as Watson. Lu was a little satisfied with that response, but she still didn't like him as much. Guess now Watson was going to have to redeem himself. She again was about to say something, but Sarah stops them as she tells them to get along. She also states that it was getting late and that if they were attack, she didn't want to have Lu and Watson bickering over who goes first. "Don't worry Sarah, I'll try to get along with him. Just as long as I avoid making eye contact with him." she said cheerfully, at the same time trying to annoy Watson. Sarah then says something about something waking up. She grabs Lu's and Watson's hands and dragged them quickly into the woods.

Lu was confused, but she kind of understood why Sarah dragged them behind a tree. Lu saw a claw reach out from the lake she fell into. From Lu's knowledge, she didn't know any monster that looked like this. It was a big creature with an eel-like body, jet black skin and red gleaming eyes. Something Lu has never seen before and certainly a creature she never heard of in her old world. This creature did put some fear into her as she was dragged further away by Sarah into the woods. Once Sarah stopped dragging them away, Lu had a big question in mind. "What the hell was that creature?!" she asked both Torn and Sarah.

Before Watson could react to anything, still being hypnotized with the moon color, Sarah quickly started to drag him away from the lake towards the woods. Watson did trust her so he went with her. Feeling the ground tremble as they stopped behind trees, he looked at the lake to notice, yet another abyssal creature. This beast looked like a bigger version of Reapers. Big blades for hands and a strange large tail. Watson was tired of meeting up with creatures like these, and simply watch. Even is own shadow started to vibrate as showing his anger towards it. Seeing the creature crawl out of the lake and simple move away from them, the forest went silent once again.

Taking away is attention from the lake, he let himself fall on the ground, against a tree, sitting. "We sure are lucky Sarah. We keep finding the best creatures." he said in a sarcastic tone. He looked at Lucifer and simply responded with "Something that we can't handle.", he didn't know the creature himself, nor he wanted until he was at its level.

She sighed as she leaned against Watson. Yeah. We sure are. Though what kind of luck is up for debate. She sighed as she felt herself getting sleepy against Watson's shoulder. As much as I want to take a nap with you right now, we need to go. We dont know if that thing is coming back. And I dont think we need to be around when a Spawn of that size shows up. She struggles to pull away from him and manages through sheer willpower. She turns to Lu. Ill explain later when we get to Eru. Or at least behind the barrier. She sighed and motioned for them to follow. Come on. Lets go. We need to hurry back before something finds us here. If they followed, they would miraculously make it through the forest without encountering anything. But would be stopped a the plains by the battle happening there.

Watson answer's Lu's question with a very distinct description of the creature. At the very least, she knows that the creature was beyond their strengths. She then looks over at Sarah as she leaned against Watson's shoulder and talking about how she wanted to take a nap with Watson right now. "I wonder if these two are a couple." she thought looking at them while making a heart shape and having them in the middle of the heart. Sarah then continues to talk about it as they didn't know if that creature was going to return and she doesn't think they would need to be around when the creature returns. She then turns to Lu as she tells her that she'd explain later at a place named "Eru" in which she had no knowledge of existing. Sarah then motioned them to follow and said to hurry back before something found them. Lu nods and followed Sarah back to wherever they needed to get to.

Watson let out a soft gliggle as she suggested a to take a nap out here, "It would be great to finish off the day off." having her head resting on his shoulder he slowly passes with his hand over her hair, having her sliver hair shinning on the blood moon, softly passing trough his fingers. Boosting himself up with tree as Sarah did the same, he got up and nodded to Sarah suggestion of leaving this place. Watson was liking the night here, the amount of shadows in this dense forest was making him feel slightly more confident. The sheer night was his habitat, in the dark, nothing would surprise them. Watson followed both of them, making himself sure nothing would attack them from behind.

The morning wind glided over the forest floor picking up leaves in it's path, the scent it carried smelled like the freshest rain water one could imagine, it made you want to take a deep breath in and exhale slowly. Ahead lay a scene that would fit into someones dream as they slumber, forgetting there life and what problems it may bring. What use to be a crater now a clear blue lake lay stretched out not to far away, with what looked like an old weathered dock, though it seemed to be well crafted by an unknown creator. In the distance a storm could be seen brewing up to cause a fuss, and a low but approaching grumble could be heard, as if to warn those in it's path.

But glancing slightly to the right something caught the eye of a watchful healer who happen to be approaching the lake this day, she made no noise as she slowly approached the dock and glanced down at the wrinkling water. Glancing back was a young woman with hair that matched the green forest around her, with a gaze that held passion and fear whenever she met another's gaze. Her skin had what looked like a natural glow that seemed to shine in the sunlight, and a smile that would warm almost any heart. Smiling Dee knelt down reaching for the water that lay before her, letting her fingertips touch the waters surface.

Grimar had happened upon the pier extending out across the river whilst on a morning stroll away from the academy. Being outside he felt more at peace than being stuck in a claustrophobic space surrounded by judging eyes. Wearing some rugged old clothes with nothing but his sword latched onto his back he decided to walk to the end of the pier and gaze downwards onto the sparkling river, the suns glare bouncing off it into his eyes making them burn slightly.

Dee smiled as the water chilled her down a bit from the run she had earlier that day, even with the approaching storm Dee didn't feel to refreshed from the wind overhead. Though there was something else that she couldn't sense to well, something was nearby, but Dee couldn't pick up the scent in her human form. Glancing around Dee spotted movement down the side of the lake, a quite larger figure approached the lake, he seemed not to notice her kneeling by the dock. Dee noticed how he seemed dressed for battle in his shining Armour, her glance lingered on the sword at his back, wondering how many battles it had seen.

Distracted by this unknown person, Dee let her guard down and forgot the lake for a moment, wondering if she should linger and observe this newcomer. She may learn something that would help her on her travels, she still had no leads on her birth parents, with no real direction to go in. Pulling her hand out of the water Dee prepared to get a better hiding spot, but before she could move a large tendril emerged from the lake, covered in what looked like sharp spikes. It took a swipe at Dee as she fell back on her butt letting out a small scream, with no time to react, Dee stared as the Tendril descended into the lake once more disappearing with a red glow.

Staring down at the water Dee felt ashamed of herself for forgetting the dangers of this new world, she didn't have the luxury of letting her guard down. Not anymore. She lifter her hands to glance at them before brushing them off, they had been dirty from her fall, small cuts remain where dirt had been a few seconds before. She checked her surroundings for anymore dangers that may be lurking, her stare falling on the figure from before her little mishap. He didn't moved much from earlier, though Dee noticed he seemed ready for a fight, if there was one waiting for him. Her instinct told her she would defiantly lose in a fight toward this opponent, so taking the more friendly approach took over, until she could flee.

Dee let her mouth turn into an unsure smile, and slowly raised herself off the cold ground below her before wiping the dirt from her clothes. Not taking her gaze off him out of fear of an attack, Dee sensed the forest was within reach if she needed to run, but stood her ground for now. He had given her no reason as of yet that he meant harm to anyone, he was being cautious and she understood that, you had to be these days. Deciding to speak Dee opened her mouth hoping he would decide not to draw his sword. "Sorry, if it startled you. It seems to have gone for now." Tilting her head to get a better look at him, she wondered what he was doing here.

The tense atmosphere around the two seemed to dissolve as they relaxed, realizing that neither wanted a conflict or negative outcome. Dee raised her hand to move a stray hair that seemed to cling to her lip, not wanting to go but to annoy her to no end. Taking a more relaxing stance, Dee wondered where he had come from before venturing to this lake. "I often come here from time to time, the scenery can be quite beautiful at times." She paused for a moment, caught up in though about a past memory she held precious to her. Her adoptive parent's brought her here before one sunny morning without a cloud insight, the water had been warm that day. Her father had even let her in the water for a couple minutes, setting up wards around her to shield her from what lay below. "Do you reside nearby?" Maybe he could point her in the right direction, she needed to find out more about her last name. Where did it come from? What did it mean if anything?

Dee tried to not let her face show to much of her emotions, though she was grateful for the help he offered, she wasn't sure where the academy was located. Her hideout of the month was to far to reach by nightfall, the darkness brought out all that goes bump in the night. She nodded her head to acknowledge his offer, and glanced in the direction he intended to take which looked clear, and had no obvious signs of danger as of yet. "I am grateful for your kindness, not many are like you these days." She had sensed he meant no harm to her at least, and she decided to walk beside him so they could have a conversation, if they chose to do so. At least if they came upon something meaning harm, they could now watch each others backs.

He looked down to his left and saw she wasnt following but walking beside him, it surprised him that she wasn't scared of the forest or even more of him. Everyone had always shunned him before he came here because of his horrible upbringing and mutated body. "U-uh... thats fine, i enjoy helping people when i can, it gives a purpose to my life" He stated whilst pointing his skyward, smiling at her. "So where do you reside?" He asked knowing she must of not been living in the forest all these years since she is worried about the darkness and what comes with it.

Keeping up her pace to match the pace of Grimar wasn't the easiest thing Dee had ever done, her skinny but nimble legs were quick, but his steps seemed enormous next to hers. She didn't let that effect her though making sure she watched her step over a broken branch, Dee noticed the unknown scent from earlier had disappeared, and been replaced by the forest aromas. Dee felt comfortable in the forest during the day light hours, it was still full of vibrant life if you knew where to look for it, and hopefully not stumble upon any shadow spawn on your search. "I tend to move around a lot...I'm looking for something. But during the night I use herbs to ward off anything that may tend to harm me." She smiled. Remember the time she had first learned to use herbs as wards, it had been long ago when she was still a child, her adoptive mother had hung them up outside there small home.

Whilst walking the two stumbled upon a fork in the road, Grimar beckoned left and continued on even though he wasnt one hundred percent certain it was the correct path. His memory was the only aspect of him that wasn't quite in tune, it was filled with his tormenting past and nothing more. His instinct led him to believe it was the the right way back though. "What is it that you are looking for?" He asked Dee wondering if he could possibly be of service to her. Hearing about how she could fend off spawns with herbs and wards had intrigued him, he had never heard of such a thing before but he didn't ask because he was sure he could bring it up the next time they spoke, the main objective of right now was getting to the safety of the academy.

Not to far ahead, directly in there path, was a fork in the road. As they approached Dee took note where they where going, so hopefully one day she would learn the way to the academy on her own. Pausing to decide which way to take she glanced over to see what way they should go, it only took a minute to figure it out and they were on there way again. Noises could now be heard among the trees above, as animals and birds started to head home, or leave home for the night. A bird flew past not to far away calling out to the unknown, as it disappeared off into the trees again. It could be heard in the distanced, followed by more calls from fellow Conrad's. "It's more like information that I'm looking for, and the academy sounds like a good place to start." She watched him as they carried on there way, making sure not to stare to much, it had been days sense seeing another person. She didn't mind the peace, but it was nice to talk to someone once and a while. "I'm unsure who my birth parents are, and was raised by an elderly couple until they passed." Her voice trailed off, not wanting to remember that time in her life.

Grimar looked down at Dee once again feeling sorry for her when she talked about her past. He could see how sad it made her talking about it, he gently placed his hand on her shoulder trying to empathise with her and make her feel better. He had no skills in socialising with people so there is no way he could try to make her feel better with words. He simply hoped this touch would tell her that she wasnt alone. "Im sorry to hear that..." He said not really knowing what else to say that could bring a smile to her face. "We are almost there, just a little further. Im sure someone there will be able to help you somehow" He smiled at her trying to instil hope in her face and mind.

The cool air shifted toward them as they continued toward the academy, the sky above them had gotten a tint darker out, and it would be harder to see there surroundings soon enough. The ground below Dee's feet made a soft crunching noise at each step she took, and as she glanced down for a brief moment, she remembered the small cuts on her hands from her earlier fall. They had become red and a tad bit inflamed from the dirt that mingled within it, though she was thankful it had stopped bleeding, and the pain was minimal. Dee hadn't expected what came next, but felt his reassuring hand on her shoulder, and tensed for a moment before relaxing once more. It had been awhile sense she let anyone near her let alone close enough to touch her, it felt warmer then she had remembered. It felt alright to know she wasn't alone at the moment. "I do hope so, though if they can't I'll find someone who does know the information I'm looking for." She smiled, off in the distance barley visible was light, hopefully a sign they were near the academy.

Making it out of the Daedrom Desert, Alex found himself in a light forest near a lake. Wasting no time, he'd go out looking around the area for sleeping spawn, killing them upon finding them and absorbing their shards. He also kept the first one he got here by himself, he wondered what the Precursors would have to say about them. He'd also keep his ears out for any suspicious sounds in case the phantoms were to approach.

As you harvested cores, you would run across what looks like a Brute. But a REALLY big one. The thing could easily be ten meters tall standing up, and has 7 long chitinous spider-like appendages emerging from its back. Odds were you were gonna kill it. But even so, just looking at it would make anyone intimidated. Even if it was asleep.

Alex almost yelled out in surprise when he noticed the giant spawn and started hyperventilating in fear for his life, but slowly calmed down as he realized it was sleeping like all the other spawn. He couldn't help but feel apprehensive, more and more the closer he got. If this thing snapped awake, he'd be guaranteed death unless he was fast enough to dodge the opening attack and the spawn itself was slow. Just in case, he created a sword out of Aqua Negra and let it hover near him. If he was in danger, he'd immediately sharpen it and throw it towards the assailant. He was also on a watch for phantoms even more now, since he could imagine that a spawn as big as this probably had a appropriate phantom to go with it. He carefully went in to kill the spawn.

You were able to kill it after considerable effort, but then you could feel a powerful presence behind you before you could take the giant Brute's core. Turning to look at it, you would see eight feet of thick, black, spiky armor. And an armored face with a malicious blue glow staring back at you. It lets out a bestial roar and strikes the ground with its fist where you stood. Its strike sounded powerful as you would narrowly dodge it. The spike on its wrist would cause it to pause as it struggled to get its freedom. But it did get its freedom. And it roared at you again. HEEESTRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN!!!!!!!!! It charged at you with heavy thuds for footsteps, sounding like a giant running instead of something its size.

Alex felt his hair stand on end when the beast roared. He was at his wit's end, accounting his narrow escape from death right now he quickly high-tailed it away from it, leaving the shard behind. He was amazed to find out that he was twice as fast as he was before, which he knew was from absorbing all the shards. He felt all around more adept. He found himself at the dock on the edge of the lake and after finally getting a good look, realized where he was. He knew what the waters here were like, and even with the possibility it won't work, set himself on getting the beast into the lake one way or another. The problem was the task itself.

The beast began to walk out onto the bridge, until the wood snapped and he fell a couple of centimeters onto the shoreline. He jumped a bit an landed back at land. It noticed a large rock and picked it up. It throws the rock overhead at you, and manages to break the Bridges outer supports. Causing the very back of the pier to collapse into the cold water. It roared again. Seems like it doesnt want to follow you into the lake.

As he was falling into the water and the beast roared, he operated on a whim and sharpened the Aqua Negra sword, shoving it down the beast's opened mouth. He would quickly start swimming to a close-by shore to get out of the water as soon as possible. He prayed to all that's divine that nothing would assault him during the process.

Seeing as you werent close enough as you fell in, nothing happened to the beast, and as you swam to a nearby shore, that same beast was waiting for you to hit dry land. Simply so that it could turn him into a puddle of human. As you reached shore, you could both hear and feel the thud of its footsteps running at you. Aiming to destroy you. As it reached you, it struck the ground with raging ferocity.

As Alex was just on the edge of the shore when the beast striked, he slipped back into the lake in his attempt to dodge. He had a very hard time deciding which is more dangerous right now, the beast or the waters. But the way he got back into the water gave him an idea. He'd clamber up to land once again and start speeding off along the shore. He had two hopes, that he'd either find a decent-sized muddy slope into the water, in which case he'd try to make the beast charge through it, or that the beast wouldn't dare to charge at him due to his proximity to the edge of the shore.

The beast would run after you, but just off the shoreline, to where it would be right next to you if it caught up. And it it did catch up, it would use its arm to swing at you from the front, hitting you with all of your momentum and its. Hoping to stop you so it can destroy you totally.
