| Majority of them are fujoshi. The show even admits it in one of the episodes. That's why the anime of Gintama is relatively more popular than the manga, which is a rare thing. I personally don't get it. If I would have to pick an anime that should appeal to fujoshi it would not be Gintama. There is barely a lot of homo undertones (Except for the mayo guy and the sadist guy). I find the art style aesthetically unpleasing and in general just gross. There is also a lot of gross things in the comedy. I also don't get why someone would find Gintoki sexy, when half his screen time is him picking his nose. |
