| I'm looking for suggestions on anime that convey a certain feeling. I'm talking about the feeling you get when Killua in HxH does something really bloodthirsty or against what you've come to known in classic shounen. I'm looking for moments that make you shiver like when in Higurashi, when you come to know more about the underlying mystery or when in Steins;Gate when you realize how serious it's all become. I want to be shocked and/or experience really badass moments (not exclusively because of a characters powers but also because of smart writing like in Code Geass or Death Note etc.) ... I hope that somehow sums it up. |
| Death Parade/Billiard, Subete ga F ni Naru and Another really gave me a good shocked if you don't play the game, Persona 4 the animation did it I had "the feeling" when I'm playing the game, but when I watch the anime, I still felt it, but not as much |

I tried watching Mouryou no Hako but the fragmented story kind of made it less interesting for me. I felt it just wanted to be complex for the sake of being complex if you know what I mean. Yami Shibai were amazing :D Watched the first season whilst eating. Great stuff! I'll check out Boogiepop after I've watched SEL. Thanks again! |
