| Pandora Hearts, it also has magical setting similar to Harry Potter. Hyouka if you want a slice of life mystery. I think the groups in those anime has similar feeling with those in Harry Potter : ) |

| -1 Boku no Pico, Higurashi (you're being trolled with these) +1 Hyouka, Zero no Tsukaima (as long as the ecchi in ZnT doesn't throw you but it's pretty tame tbh (more for humor) Witch Craft Works -- Magic school with opposing factions. Chihayafuru -- 3 friends similar relationships. Touhou Doujin Anime -- Magical aspect. Kyoukai no Kanata (Beyond the Boundary) -- Friends fighting together. Gosick -- Odd elite school, mysteries, very smart girl. Shakugan no Shana -- The guy has something that interests opposing supernatural forces. Similar to but heavier and deeper than Witch Craft Works. Some of these are similar in the friendship, others with the magic, a couple with solving mysteries (which is what a lot of HP was about: each movie had some mystery that needed finding out about). |
