| Yeah but can we truly say it pioneered the genre? I like Morrowind but I can't really acknowledge it as a pioneer of the open world genre. And the fact that it's being handed out not before, but after the release of Fallout 4... |

| I call bullshit on that. It probably even dates before this, but the original Zelda could largely be considered open world. He certainly helped shape the genre, but hardly "pioneered" it. |
