Sora no Manimani - Does it get better?

Watched the first episode, but something keeps putting me off about it. One line in the opening consists of something like this "we will be together for millions of light years."

I know, I know, it's just an anime. But for an anime with some focus on astronomy, this mistake bothers me, light years is a unit of DISTANCE not TIME.

Lol I know I'm getting worked up over it, but my question here is, does it get any better? Is it worth watching for the romance aspect? I initially got into the anime because of the whole astronomy club ordeal, is that aspect enjoyable for those that are passionate about astronomy?

I don't know what you mean by "better," but it doesn't really go in-depth with its romance. It mostly hovers around the friendship of the group, as well as tangentially skimming over the astronomy aspect with lots of misty-eyed inspirational monologues if I remember correctly. It does take its time with its story and character relationships, making sure you understand how they feel about each other, and its portrayal of space does allow for a lot of atmosphere and ambiance. Take that as you will.
