| I know many people disliked the dubs for the TV series, but I also heard new dubs were made for the movies. I was unable to find any opinions anywhere online. So what do you guys think, are the dubs for the "recap" movies any good? |

| What new dubs? It's still the same voice actors for the movies. Whoever you've heard that from most likely just means that the same VAs redid the voices again just like it usually happens in recap movies. |

| If it is the same actors, but new recording then I would still consider them new dubs, but thanks for clarifying. I guess my question then is did they do a better job this time around, enough to make the dub good? |

| I never watched the original Madoka series dub, so I can't say for how the dub is versus the original work they did, but... I did notice some of the jokes I'd heard about the original dub weren't present ("Girls can't like girls!" or whatever). Coming into the movie as my first Madoka dub experience, I thought it was pretty good. Some of the cast was weaker than others (Madoka and Kyouko especially), but I think Homura and Sayaka's performances made up for that. |
