Heyo , my nemesis. It seems u are quite knowledgeable about me :D.
Anyone crazy enough to use a scythe in a fight is worth looking into.
Well, you guys won't be in any action for a while, licking your own wounds for the moment.

Chapter 2 (Part 2) – Mercenary’s Strength X Apostle’s Plan
As the alarm rang, Elena and Yore went to the control room to confirm the situation with the caravan crew.
“What’s the situation, Dom?” asked Yore towards the one using the radar.
“We detected three monsters heading our way. Judging from the speed, they must be at least 30 meters tall,” said the man.
As they wondered what kind of monster they were, a communication channel was blinking, which Yore went and opened it.
“Control Room, this is Darius. Did you guys spotted three monsters?”
“This is Control Room. Affirmative, we spotted three large-size monsters heading this way. Can you confirm the monster types, Darius?”
“Actually, I’m on route to intercept the monsters with Vie. The monsters are the Blood Raven, Acid Cobra and Diamond Wolf.”
“What? Two ‘Knight-Class’ and one ‘Rook-Class’ monsters?” shouted one of the helmsman who heard the report.
The monsters are actually evolved beasts from normal ones through mutations or accumulation of attribute residue from the surroundings. The first monsters are actually more or less the same as their normal counterparts, except they were larger and smarter. Only after the third generation and so forth that they’ve become more dangerous and gain intellect. Even with that, they were divided into six different classes, starting from the ‘Pawn’, which is the lowest and most basic-types of monsters with no special characteristics or abilities, ‘Bishop’, which the monsters acquire special traits such as petrification venoms or acidic blood, ‘Knight’, faster variant of the ‘Bishop’, ‘Rook’, tougher variant of the ‘Knight’, the stronger all-rounder ‘Queen’ to the highest and most powerful ‘King’. Although almost monsters aren’t ‘Queen’ or ‘King-Class’, there are several known monsters categorized as such.
Hearing the helmsman’s remark, Elena immediately went to the communication panel and said, “Darius, don’t intercept them, please. Those three are stronger than those people that you fought with yesterday. Please return to the caravan so we can defend against the attack easily.”
“No, Vie and I will intercept them here. If we defend from the caravan, the chance that the caravan is damaged beyond repair is high. You know that a damaged caravan is a target for bandits, right? I’ll see what I can do here,” said Darius before cutting the transmission off.
“Darius? Darius, respond. Argh, dammit,” said Elena in anger before throwing the microphone down and went towards the door before stopped by Yore.
“Let me pass, Yore. They won’t survive the fight at this rate.”
“I know, so that’s why I’m going too.”
After hearing Yore’s statement, Elena could just stood there dumbfounded when one of the helmsman presented to Yore a spear made form tempered steel with engravings on the shaft and a set of light Roman armor. Seeing Yore equipping the armor, Elena could only shook her head in resignation.
“Are you sure, Yore?”
“Leave it to me. You’ve seen my abilities and I’ve trained with this spear for four years now. Come on, Elena. Darius needs our help.”
…
Meanwhile, while Elena and Yore preparing to aid Darius and Vie, both of them were dashing towards the monsters while preparing their weapons.
“Vie, do you still use ‘that’?” asked Darius as he uses ‘Earth Sculpt – Sword-Type’ to create another makeshift sword.
“Un, I still use ‘it’ as per instruction of Acting-Leader.”
“Alright, you know what to do then, Vie. Take care of the Blood Raven before support me, alright?” asked Darius for confirmation which Vie nodded.
“Then, let’s go.”
As they went closer towards the monsters, Vie took out 6 needles from the back and threw it towards the Blood Raven. As the needle hit the raven, it exploded causing the bird screeched out in pain. Taking it as the starting bell, both Acid Cobra and Steel Wolf charged towards Vie before Darius blocked them and engaged them without room to counter him.
The Raven, having recovered from the attack, glared towards Vie and approached her while secreting blood-like mucus from its body. It then flicked the mucus form its body towards Vie causing Vie to evade the mucus. As the mucus hit the spot where Vie was before, it expanded three times the around the area and turned sticky and viscous. The mucus is actually the Blood Raven’s ability to ensnare prey and foe alike.
‘That could be a problem if it hits,’ thought Vie as she prepared the needles again to be thrown towards the raven. She then used ‘Heat Haze’ to confuse the Raven of her position before throwing the needles. The needles was fused with ‘Red Attribute Trap Ability: Flame Burst’ which caused it to explode on contact, usually used like a landmine.
Meanwhile, Darius parried and blocked both the Acid Cobra and Steel Wolf’s attack with ease. Sensing that the enemy is strong, the Acid Cobra suddenly spit it’s venom towards Darius, which he evaded with minimal movement. The venom then hit a nearby tree, which within seconds was corroded till nothing is left.
‘Just as I suspected, the acid is very corrosive,’ thought Darius as he attacked both the wolf and cobra without hesitation. As the battle raged on, both Yore and Elena was near the site when Vie threw at least twenty needles towards the Blood Raven, which exploded in unison, causing the bird to die within the flame. Both Elena and Yore were in awe when they saw Vie’s attack. Seeing the raven died, the Steel Wolf shoots its steel-like bristles towards Darius, causing him to parry before dodging them. Sensing the opening, the Acid Cobra lunged towards Vie.
“Ah, Vie, watch out!” shouted Elena as she ran towards Vie, but at the rate she’s running, she won’t make it. Vie, noticed the sudden movement, could only watched as the cobra got near her and ready to bite her when suddenly, Darius shouted, “Vie, switch now!”
At that moment, the shocked Vie made an evil smirk and raised his arms as if holding a heavy weapon when sand particles appear and forming a shape. At the same time, Vie swung his arms as the shape solidified and formed a big hammer twice her size. The hammer then smashed the cobra, instantly killed it as its blood corroded the area near the head. Elena, having stopped at her tracks, just stared dumbfounded at the event when Vie suddenly laughed.
“Hehe… Hahahaha… That is so satisfying; I want to break even more heads. Hahaha…”
The Steel Wolf, cowered in fear, tried to flee when Vie dashed towards the wolf as Darius ordered Vie again.
“Vie, switch to piercing type.”
At that moment, Vie’s smirk changed to an emotionless mask and the weapon changed yet again to a sharp rapier. He then stabbed the wolf precisely at the head, causing the wolf to dropped dead.
“Mission complete, sir,” said Vie as he wiped away the blood from the rapier before dispersed the weapon away.
“Good job, Vie. Return to your normal self now,” said Darius as he scanned the area for any more enemies.
“Understood, returning back to mode 1,” said Vie before closing his eyes. After a few seconds, Vie opened her eyes with a bit worn out expression.
“What was that? How did he able to materialize those weapons?” asked Elena as she jogged towards Darius and Vie. Hearing the question, Vie immediately hid herself at Darius’ back, which Darius just sighed.
“Vie uses a unique item called ‘Starlight Memory’, which can produce a weapon that suits the personality of the wearer,” Darius explained. Even with the explanation, Yore could only ask curiously.
“Wait, if it can only produce one type of weapon, how did he able to use three types then?”
“Have you heard of people having multiple personality?” asked Darius on Yore’s questioning. At first both Elena and Yore are confused when they suddenly thought of something.
“You mean…”
“Yes, Vie has almost twenty types of personality, which makes the item a dangerous weapon for Vie. Isn’t that right, ‘Crimson Play’ Vie?” said Darius after Elena muttered what she thought.
“That’s right, Darius. I now have thirty personalities in me which I can tap whenever I want, depending on the situation.”
“Well, that’s that. Now that the situation is under control, let’s head back to the caravan, guys,” said Darius leading the way. After they got back, the caravan began resuming their progress towards their next city.
…
“Oh dear, my poor pets have been killed.”
That’s the first thing Osanna muttered after what can be considered a long time spacing out on top of a building.
“Such a waste of high-quality pets. Oh well, I can just tame more if I wanted to,” said Osanna while humming happily. As she skipped towards the stairs, suddenly a figure appeared at her back, causing her to be stiff.
“Your attack failed, ‘Lady T’. Or did you have a plan in mind?” asked the figure.
“Even though this is just on a whim, I found something interesting there. I might try again in the near future, ‘Shadow Emperor’,” said Osanna before she turned around and kneel before the figure.
“Very well. In the mean time, I have a special mission for you.”
“And what would that be?” asked Osanna with a smirk.
As if afraid, the wind blew as if running away from both of them.
