| It was a big volume, at least compared to the other ones that I have. I don't recall about Maou knowing Emi's mother in the anime, so that was a nice "extra". Those resumés were funny. |
| I overall enjoyed it. It was still funny and informative. And the anime did a great job in adapting it. |

| I found it a little odd that Emilia gave him the umbrella at the end of this volume as opposed to at the end of the anime (which I assume was the end of the 2nd volume). I guess it wasn't that odd, given that she did it after realizing he was becoming a decent person... but still, it felt a little sweeter in the anime. Aside from that I thought this was a big improvement over the anime adaption... glad I started this... just wish light novels were more popular here so they'd translate faster. |
