Im talking about the (original dub one's) here :D

Honestly sometimes i do find it quite good, like when senjougahara said, "Parent Teacher Association" for example, she sounded a bit sexy,Though it also bothers me sometimes...,really like from nanatsu no taizai, the way the say thier skills are in english and i think that its not cool at all. Imagine shichika yelling in english you'ld find it uncool right?..maybe? well just my opinion.

You mean like Takako from Hanasaku Iroha?

Sends shivers down my spine, and not good ones.

But it's worse when it's a sci-fi or mecha and they use "exotic" (read: terribad) German or Latin sounding words to describe weapons or attacks, that shit will roll my eyes back into my head for days.

It can be funny but most of the time it is horrible.

This scene is supposed to be sad. Its a funeral but it is impossible to take it seriously because of the engrish:

When it's a female VA it's sometimes pretty ka-wa-ii but if it's male I usually just cringe. There are exceptions though.

Not really, although it's always fun when they pull out the traditional scene with the English-speaking tourist passing through town who asks the main characters a question and they invariably freak out on how to respond to him.

Also, this, which is also evidence why the old show is completely superior:

No. It has the magical ability to turn a fairly mediocre anime that takes itself seriously into a hilarious comedy.

Zankyou No Terror is a fine example.

Norio Wakamoto gets a pass, that guy is amazing no matter what language he speaks in.

I know the priest will hang me for this but I can't fucking stand this:

The Engrish is so cringe worthy, looks like it was written by an autistic 12 year old.

There's also really funny English like:

It doesn't bother me, but most often than not, I find it pretty funny when they're talking and at the same time cringe worthy. :D
It's funny, because, most of the anime I've seen their English and some other European languages they try to speak is/are really broken, and, they are really having a hard time with the pronunciation of the R letter.

I actually find their attempts at Spanish at least more reasonable then most of the other languages.

The VA's pronunciation of Glotoneria (Spanish for gluttony) was spot on for a change.

Anyone know why it's so common in anime to use English words? It's something I've never really understood. Do they believe it makes them sound cooler?

It's almost physically painful most of the time.

And i really don't understand why Japanese musicians always feel compelled to put English in their lyrics, even though they obviously don't speak it.

Except for Lotus Juice, that guy's cool.

Well, that is just one word, but if they were to talk in Spanish they were probably going to have problems with, but it's fine, not everyone can be good speaker in another language.
For example, I don't know in which anime that I finished recently, there was this French sentence, "Je suis Random Name" and they pronounced the Je as G, while it should be pronounced as Zh/Zhe. :)

Cultural reasons mostly, Japanese people are forced to learn English in school. You can see it on advertisements and stuff in Japan, it just looks cool and stands out I guess. Something I have found strange though is that some voice actors can speak fluent English yet they speak Engrish in anime...

What's more annoying is when English voice actors start trying to say certain English words with a Japanese pronunciation. Eureka from Eureka Seven is a good example. Or the TEETAHNS (properly TITANS - pronounced TAI-tons) from Zeta Gundam. I don't care if its a proper name the Japs got it wrong. Quit that shit.
