| The Doujin circle "世の漆黒" already released two music albums a few years ago, but you're right in that it's the first more-or-less official Hakomari release outside of written text. A shame that it's probably going to be a vocaloid song/album. (although that's just a personal preference, I guess) |

Hm... maybe I'm just being pessimistic here, but I consider this news to be a bad sign in that respect, actually. To me it sounds like Dengeki Bunko have no interest in marketing/pushing the Hakomari franchise and therefore don't care if Mikage uses it for his "hobby". |
| Okay, there's some news here! The release is called "「空ろの箱と零のマリア」半公式オープニング＆エンディング" (Utsuro no Hako to Zero no Maria: Semi-Official Opening & Ending Theme). The opening track, ゼロに届け (Zero ni Todoke), can be listened here around 01:46:30. |
| I actually quite like the song and listened to it a few times -- definitely a lot better than most of the other ones introduced. That being said, I was pleasantly surprised that they got themelves a real singer instead of using a Vocaloid like in their previous releases.
