Yes, i am back with another short shot. After watching a certain anime (can you guess what anime is it) i got an idea for a story. I am not trying to go big, just some thoughts would be nice.
A synopsis might be in order, and i might continue and i might not.
Imagine, you without anything. Without opinion, without self. A person, no a monster. An anomaly, observing but not comprehending. This is a story about self-discovery and gaining the right to give yourself a name..
My name is...
Chapter 1 (Discovery)
The clouds gather ''I love the rain''
The clouds gather ''I loved the rain''
The clouds gather '' I'll love the rain''
I suppose, i'm not making much sense. I am but a simple story teller and you are definitely not a simple reader. I am the creator while you are the observer, the latter being much more interesting in my opinion.
Let's start from the beginning. Once upon a time there lived a monster, a monster without thought, a monster without direction a monster without self. First came the rain, in a world void of sense the monster experienced the drops of rain trickling along its skin. The monster did not feel good or bad. It kept standing there, with something stirring in it's heart. An ember getting ready to explode a thought not fully formed. After an eternities worth of months, years, centuries. The monster saw the change, and observed it as such. The rain stopping and after a while resuming again. The monster saw the cycle of life and death repeating over and over again. And as the rain trickled over its body for another time, the ember grew into a fire of individuality, a weak but beautiful fire.
Guided by the fire it felt the need to express itself, the monster moved it's lips and as the water flowed into it's mouth it spoke the words '' It is wet''
The monster was surprised the flame did not die or fade out completely, on the contrary it started to grow larger and burn more fiercely. The monster could not stand the heat.
'' It's hot '' the scorching heat longed for movement, so the monster moved its eyes, mouth until it couldn't resist moving its fingers, legs. Soon enough, every nook and cranny of the monsters body was being moved, which looked like a spectacle i might add. The monster was surprised that it's body could move in such impossible ways; however the heat was not content with being stationary. The monster moved, slowly but surely it stepped into a new perspective with just one step the whole world had changed. It could see the mountains that were hidden behind trees a step away, the mossy side of a rock that had been standing there as long as the monster could remember, it could see it all, the flame had reached equilibrium. But the monster was not satisfied an inoccent thought raced through the monsters mind: what other things lie behind steps i have yet to take? The monster took a step slowly like testing out new waters, and after a while one step had grown into many the monster had seen behind the misty mountains. It had felt icy rain that fell gently down from the sky. The monster kept walking, flowers bloomed and withered, sands replaced grass lands, and invaded rock . Everywhere the monster goes it sees the cycle repeating, never ending. A question that should be asked still lurks in the shadow of the monsters mind, laying in wait for a chance to strike. Not yet, the question was not fully formed yet.
As the monster was continuing it's journey it came upon a bird. The bird was graceful, it flew towards the heavenly blue sky. The monster wanted wings too, it wanted to see even more. The bird flew away, and the monster moved on, not fully understanding the feeling inside it's chest. The name was jelousy a simple emotion present in all sentient beings. The monster saw all kinds of creatures, cats with beastial eyes, snakes that whisper softly. The monster reached the same conclusion again and again.
''This world is beautiful, its magnificently crafted. Surely such a perfect world cannot exist'' the monster conversed. Not with itself but the world, the trees, the ground and the ants crawling on it.
It wasn't long before the monster found burnt land, the absolute cycle had been broken. No matter how long the monster waited the grass did not grow, the animals did not return. It's heart raced, the monster was feeling sad, the rain on its cheeks felt cold and foreign, it stood there weeping, until that sadness turned into curiosity.
''What creature would ruin, this land?'' And the monster journeyed once again. Wanting to find the culprit of ruining the cycle, it followed the road of ruined land. The smoke, penetrated the monsters lungs, it was near. Foot prints decorated the ground, horses and feet. There it was, a most brutal scene.
''Please, you can do anything with me just spare the child!'' There a menacing creature was looking down upon some of its kind, the monster observed. The surroundings were full of those creatures twisted, and pale they were laughing at the monster. It was trembling, a new emotion was stirring. However the monster considered it within it's duty to watch over the commotion.
There the evil looking creature stabbed through the man twisting the blade, as the man screamed in agony, the song of death terrified the monster even more. The monstrous creature left, but not without spitting in the little ones face.
Hmm Interesting, although slightly confusing. I think you're not too sure what you're aiming at, more like a stream of consciousness.
Try to fix some grammar but apart from that it seems alright.
I cant really tell you any more at the moment :D
