| Skins is a series about teenagers. It contains social problem (poverty, mental illness, anorexia, cultural differences, broken families etc.), sexuality (but not 'I LOVE BOOBS', like in some of anime shows), drugs and alcohol abuse. Can anyone think of anything similar? I actually found a similar post on this forum, but it was from 2011 and it wasn't really helpful, so I thought that maybe now something new showed up and I could find what I'm looking for. |

| Nana comes to my mind... although it's josei and music plays a big role in it (unlike in Skins), there is a lot of relationship problems and stuff like that, which is present in Skins. Drug related problems are also there. |
