For feels, Kobato is second to Clannad for me, although most emotional scenes are of heartwarming kind instead of heart-breaking. Its lesser intensity feels, but there were more of them, very therapeutic to recover from Clannad AS

Golden time is definitely the answer here! To be completely honest, Kannon won't be very good if you're watching it after Clannad. It's not bad by any means but they're both practically the same anime, except that Clannad is made 10x better. Imo, Kannon is just a decent stand-in if you can't find anything else.
