Anime where the main male characters are best friends that would do anything for each other. Also there needs to be action, but it would like it if it had comedy too.

Bakuman, iirc. There's not much action in it, but it is a very enjoyable watch!
Durarara!! I would definitely recommend!

Hunter x Hunter (2011) is an amazing anime so I recommend it regardless. The friendship between the two main characters plays a more underlying role but is definitely an important factor.

^Those two. I just started Bakuman 4 days ago, I've been hooked since then. Currently watching the 3rd season. It's worth it.

I think Magi also qualifies. Both seasons are good.

-Bungou Stray Dogs
-Beelzebub
-Katekyo Hitman Reborn ( more like teacher and student but pretty worth )
+1 Owari no Seraph and Hunter x Hunter ( 2011 ) ( you should definetly watch HxH :D )
-Tokyo Ghoul
-Ushio to Tora ( not really two boys but a boy and a demon or shall i name it tiger? :D )
