The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya (light novel)
| So I heard about this show, been reading reviews about this show, and then I finally watched it but.. it was rather boring, the jokes are kinda forced, so I deleted it right away. How you guys saw this series anyway? I don't see it as the one "legendary" anime everyone is talking about. Sorry if I offended anyone. |

| It's a love/hate thing, don't worry about it. I think it was great imo. It just matters on how you perceive the story and if you like the characters or not. |

| I tried watching years ago but yeah, it was boring. I couldn't get past 2 episodes. I will probably give it another go some time later. |

| Just because something is popular, it doesn't necessarily appeal to everyone. I liked it... I don't see a point in making this sort of thread though? If you didn't like it, that's fine... but you don't have to make a thread about it - All you'll gain from it is hate from others who did like the show. |

| It's up to you to decide how you enjoy the series. I personally find Haruhi's spontaneous entertaining but I wouldn't put it as "legendary". It has an impact on its industry but enjoyment of it is subjective. inb4haruhielitistflame I don't see the point of insulting people for having different tastes than you. |

It's postmodernism made anime, for better or for worse. And I respect it a lot for what it tries to get. On the other hand, the show has a lot of energy in its character dynamics. Kyon is a great lead and Haruhi is a charismatic bitch. |
| I thought that the series was good imo (with the exception being the endliess 8). Dont worry about it if you dont like a series. Its all about personal taste |

| I'm not really interested in the franchise and I'd only like to know if Haruhi did ever find out about her powers and was able to use them to her will (be it in the Manga, Anime or LNs)? |
