I totally don't get why you people don't like that series

The superb script, the VA's delivery of poignant lines, music that beautifuly enhanced the scene, camerawork and pointlessness of it all all will be hard to replicate. The pacing? It's pretty much perfect. Would you liked to have seen episode 6 stretched out? It's weird and disgusting enough to make you feel discomfort, but it's over fast enough before it gets ridiculous. The script does it's job fine. Complaining about BGM is just nitpicking at this point. It was hardly bad, just not good.

I watched Pupa because I wanted to see how bad a show could be. I was severely disappointed. The show is far from "good", but in terms of badness? A lot of the mainstream shit is a lot worse.
