| Round 61: I wanted to type a proper answer involving crazy ideas like baiting Haine with sauce over scrappy metal making her think its pizza while I sneak all 3 out.. Or sumthing about making one of them dudes fake being dead after I pretend to kill them and use ketchup as blood.. But m too lazy atm.. So.. | The Manjuu (not a MAL user) used his army of potatoes to successfully defeat a certain dragon out in the wild which was an amalgamation of a manatee and a giraffe. The Potato Army utilized its natural charm to seduce the dragon into captivity. They lived happily ever after. 49 words, 274 characters |

| Miyauchi Renge was training her beloved Tanuki Gu on one rainy summer morning. Little did she know that the mythical beast she found earlier was actually a fugitive. Gu had stolen 2 candy bars from Candy Store. Candy Store got so angry she send out her dragon to apprehend the Tanuki. The 3 meter tall dragon descended in front of Renge. Renge was now quivering in fear while holding Gu. The dragon tried to grab Gu with its mouth, however Gu jumped out of the way. So the dragon knocked Renge over since he was to slow to come to a halt in time. Renge then crawled away and started crying "Natsun! Natsun!". The dragon then went after Gu and Natsumi who was conveniently nearby took up the situation and spotted the dragons weakness. "Renge, that's a vampiric dragon, it can't handle bright sunlight" (In Japanese ofcourse). Renge seeing Gu was still being chased by the dragon decided to run home as quickly as she could. She pulled out some epic god tier gear and assembled a teru teru bouzu suit. She put on that godly armor and went outside. As soon as she stepped out the door the clouds cleared immediately. However this didn't defeat the dragon. The dragon responded in dragon speech, "that's very cleaver little girl, but a little sunlight doesn't harm me. The dragon DNA inside me makes me drain sunlight and empowers me!". Renge had no idea what the dragon just said and ran towards Gu (who was by now severely injured by the dragon which used his claws to try and scoop him up numerous times). The dragon didn't understand why Renge tried to protect Gu so he asked "Why are you protecting that thieve?" (in Japanese). Renge then responded by saying "He's a tanuki I'm very fond of, I know nothing of this thievery (in Japanese)". In awe of Renge's determination the dragon decided they'd play a game of chess, the loser would surrender the tanuki to the winner. The dragon knew he was a master of the game. He held the record of not losing a game of chess for ever 1200 years. The one game he did lose before that time was because the board and pieces were so small he accidentally knocked over his king when he tried to move a pawn. Renge accepted the duel. After about 30 seconds Renge was in a situation where she would be checkmate the next move no matter what she tried. And then, checkmate... But since the dragon was so impressed by the little girls determination to protect the tanuki he suggested a 2 out of 3. Their next game would be hide and seek as Renge suggested. Which was later appeared to be a doomed choice. First Renge would go into hiding. But the dragon easily sniffed her out of her hiding place. When it was Renge's turn he flew up high in the sky and she was unable to find him. After a couple of minutes I decended again since it was taking her longer to find him than it took him to find her. Having won 2 out of 3, the dragon was entitled to take Gu with him. Renge wasn't really willing to let Gu go like that and went up to him and punched him as he was taking Gu away. The dragon wanted to test her a little more so he decided to show his true form. He then grew all kinds of spikes and flames out of his body. Renge then flinched and could move because she was petrified. However due to Renge's facial expression (which stayed like it always is) the dragon misstook it for unimpressed. The dragon was by now so impressed by the little girl he decided he would only take back the 2 candy bars Gu took and some of the magical energy that all tanukies have. The tanuki lost most of his power which includes invisibility to humans super strength and the noble phantasm Gate of Babylon. The noble phantasm didn't belong to the tanuki, but he stole it. The dragon was initially not interested in it, however he decided he would take it as a form of punishment. The dragon left and Gu was forever grateful that Renge saved him. After losing most of his powers he decided to become her pet. He retained his super sensitive hearing which explains why he hears her when she tries to whistle even when there's no sound humans can hear coming out. |
