Well if you are speaking academically I was a straight-A high school student and I have a pretty good academic records on uni as well.

But as a student, I sleep a lot in class, I am a back-bencher(it's a term for the more lazy and noisy kids at the back) and I do everything just before or a day after the deadline is passed. ._.

Something we, humans, have to take responsibility for. Earth's temperature was always increasing but it was very gradual. But us, humans just had to go and increase that rate to actually see it's effect to fruition. Not only are we putting ourselves in danger, we are also putting all of the flora and fauna on earth on in danger as well. So we have to do something about it.

Also, the increasing sea levels that could immerse island countries like Japan, somethings got to be done about that. We cant have anime die on us

It's just that you said you didnt know of Archies existence o_o I mean.. it's Archie comics.. the comics that was so popular that the few three first search engines that were invented were named Archie, Jughead and veronica.. It was pretty popular well into the early 2000's.. So when someone says they don't know about it..

it made feel old ._.

Happiest period?

Probably coincide with the most hectic period of my life. I had this 7 day camp in the extreme remote rural areas in my state.. We didn't have any range in our mobile nor could we connect to the internet throughout those 7 days.

So 50 college students who are always on their phone or laptop find themselves completely devoid of any connection to the internet.. by themselves. We had some of the most fun times of our lives. We adventured through the forests around the villages, saw wild elephants and many wild animals.

We also had great fun with camp fires and so on. It was a pretty fun time from the hard concrete life of the city.

(Check out the hectic life answer if you want to know what we did in those remote villages because I am too lazy to list it all again ._.).

Haha yeah I am one of those types but everyone has their own fair share limitations and problems. If I am good at academics, I will be bad at sensitive subjects , feeling and relationships.

Tbh I'd rather be bad at academics than be insensitive.

Well I'm not ready to settle down with anyone right now. But if my relationship with that someone becomes strong enough that we reach a stage to consider settling down, then definitely yes. So it's upto the way my relationship goes with that certain someone.
As of now, I have no such certain someone. I am wild and free... and very alone

Should it be protesting against?
or could it be just a protest?

If so, then I would be protesting for Gay Rights and our group name would be Equality FOR all.

I actually have watched a bit of pokemon, digimon, bey blade, yu gi oh, doraemon, captain tsubasa, and a lot of inazuma 11.

My brother has been watching anime for like 2 years before I got into it.

It was around 16 months ago when I watched my first anime that I knew was anime.
My brother brought this pendrive with Shinjeko No Kyugen in it. I watched it for the first time and I instantly got into anime.

My first manga was around 6 months ago when I read through Naruto and One Piece at a stretch because I didn;t like the fillers in the naruto anime and the kiddy tone of one piece anime.

Favorite books.. that's a hard question o_o

I guess my favorite currently would be A Song of Ice and Fire series by GRRM..

I also love LoTR by Tolkein

I really like The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho

Also the Artemis Fowl series by Eoin Colfer

Favorite programming language.. hmm C and C++.

Most complex program?

Me and my 2 other friends coded this android app for checking the attendance percentage of each student in the college with a database system.

You input the every day attendance and you can check how many hours or days you can spent bunking classes and stuff.

It was a bit complex since we have like 6 departments , 8 semesters and a lot of calculations because of the time tables for each student.

You need 75% attendance for every subject you attend to write the uni exam without condonation fees and a minimum of 60% attendance with condonation fees.

We had to find every time table in the college, then find every subject, find the hours allotted for each subject by the uni and account for all the extra classes and stuff ._.

Me too - I luv C++, never would I go back to basic or java, or C# for the matter - C++ gives so much freedom. That's harsh from your uni - at least we don't have attendance - on the other hand - usually there are no good textbooks that go along with our courses, so if we skip lectures we usually have to take them from our colleagues or fail the exam xD.

I know right. C++ is the shizz. I like C too because I learnt it first and I messed around with it a lot in the beginning :3

Oh, that;s hard bro. We do the same thing though but there will only be a couple of people in the whole class who care enough to take notes. The rest of us just take copies from those two xD

But we always use text books as the main study material.

The attendance thing is bad ._. There are rules on how many times one can pay condonations fees too >_>

We started to make the app so that we could bunk efficiently but it ended up becoming a huge project. It's currently in a beta test mode being used by fellow students in our year. If it all goes well, we'll make it into a thing.. so that the generations to come will have a better time at the uni xD

I would prolly watch Cowboy Bebop or Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann next in a weeks time.

Ikr.. I think I couldn't get it because I watched it in a very discontinued way than the normal way I watch anime.I normally marathon from e1 to the end in one go. But for DRR, due to different reasons, I ended up watching about 1 or 2 epis each day and it got confusing to me. I still have it on my HDD though.

Well it's more of a personality trait. I don't understand people's feelings. I understand how I am feeling but not with other people. I am like an alien when it comes to feeling things as well. Because if someone insults me or makes fun of me, I think of it as constructive criticism than someone actually humiliating me.

I have a hard time figuring what someone else is thinking behind different thoughts. You know how people talk to you about certain things.. but they are trying to tell you something else... like reading between lines. I am really bad at that.

I am very straight forward so I never understand anything anyone who runs around the bush when trying to tell me something. I have a hard time judging the situation and I often blurt out the wrong things at the wrong times.

I can have really strong relationships with people who understand me but not so much, with people who think that I mean something else when I say something straight forward.

I think it's because I am a bit too innocent for the kind of thoughts people think I put behind the straight forward stuff I say.

You probably understand from the above explanation, it is extremely hard for me to even have a proper conversation with a girl romantically. I dont know how to flirt and I dont know how to speak to girls the way they want me to speak to them..

I dont even know how to explain properly. I hope you get the point.

In short, I am an alien when it comes to romance and social situations

I think girls go through a way more stuff than just going to the different toilent and wearing different attires ._.

Anyway with just those two differences, still I think I would be a much different person.
Because I became who I am because I had guy friends and was raised in such a manner.

I didn't have a curfew or a strict household on how I live my life. But if I were born a girl, I believe I would have been taught to live way more conservatively, wouldnt have had any guy friends same way I dont have many girl - friends as a guy and had this kind of exposure to the internet. I think I would be restricted in many ways. I would have had a curfew to be home by 6pm or something.

Those things would change me completely, even though they might be small if its for a short period of time but if it's for my whole life. I would have become probably a bit more bubbly happy person with girl friends and a bit conservative on other topics.

I wouldnt have been a lot more ignorant on different topics like the rise of consumption of weed and other kinds of drugs, different types of things guys have to go through.

I would probably be a lot more informed of different other topics like sex and stuff that I am not really informed off.

Yeah, all in all, My life would have been completely different, so would be my personality , my experiences, my hobbies.. everything would have been different if I were a girl.

Also I would be a huge shoujo lover than the shounen one I am.

Probably the Chinese because they have the firepower and the people to do it. Especially if they form an alliance with India. Then Chinese-Indo alliance will be on top all in all.

If India and Chinese are against each other, then whoever the United States of America chooses to side with will come on top.

World Government as in 1 government alliance ruling the whole globe. Nah, I cant see it being possible. As long as there are humans, there will always be conflict and through this conflict only will we strive. If there ever arise a world govt. there would definitely be an anti govt alliance which will revolt. It's in our nature, so its not going to be ever possible.

Hmm, that's strange because C++ is kind of like an upgrade from C, so learning C first seems like the logical step first.. You will understand more of the differences and uses of procedural and object oriented programming languages better imo.

Me too, I think I can talk to girls who understand how I am about romantic things but I will still have difficulties telling them romantic things, if you know what I am trying to say.

Vagabond.

From the first chapter , it hooked me in. I was expecting something like a ronin's bloody journey of death and massacre.. just an action filled seinen with sex, blood and epicness.

Boy, how wrong was I, the manga is probably the greatest seinen history with one of the best character development out there. From a raw , blood thirsty ronin, Miyamato Musashi and his journey to find the way of the sword.. the way he matures and the troubles and the thorns he has to overcome to become the master of the sword.

The artwork and the story telling of Inoue Takehiko is definitely worth every minute spent reading it. Not only does it take you on a journey with Miyamato Musashi, it also has a great way of showing the growth of his eternal rival Sasaki Kojiro.

I love the direction of the manga as well as it's artwork. Inoue Takehiko is my favorite author after his epic Slam Dunk, this is definitely his greatest work.

Anime > Hollywood:
Anime shows a completely different world from that of a hollywood movie. It shows Japanese cultures, its politeness, the way people think and almost everything about it is fundamentally different from hollywood, because of the cultural differences.. which in turn makes it that much more interesting since us or me, who has always been exposed to hollywood..gets exposed to anime ,I find a new perspective on things, a new sense of humor that never occurred to me till then and an exposure to an incredibly rich culture.

Also the action, battles and the romance are all made differently, with beta characters. I don't think there's any Hollywood movie with a beta character so that's pretty nice.
The battles, the way they rise above their difficulties, I think it has a lot of similarities with Hollywood as well as many dissimilarities.

Also, the portrayal of a normal girl or woman is completely different. The women think in anime is completely different, the way they act on certain things are much more relate-able to me than it was on Hollywood, so was the depiction of some male characters in anime. Maybe its because I am Asian and I can relate to the Japanese culture more than the western culture or that it is much relate-able to everyone.

Hollywood > Anime :

Women are protrayed better in hollywood imo. Even if you look at most stars that come up as "sex symbols" but they are never portrayed as objectively as in anime. They are never shown to be wearing such short mini skirts or showing such pantsu shots.
There more women empowering movies in hollywood than in anime.

Also, the hollywood is made with a huge amount of money.. so it definitely has better CGI, effects and direction than most anime. Definitely some of the greatest dialogues have come from hollywood.

The way characters speak to each other and the depiction of Sci Fi movies and such are far far advanced than anime imo.

In all honesty, if I were asked to choose between watching an anime movie or a hollywood movie in theaters, I would choose the hollywood because I think its worth the money.

At home, it's a completely different matter all together.

haha thanks :D

hmm well most epic movies I have watched were prior to actually watching anime and I havent watched many movies after I was introduced to anime.. atleast not as much as I used to, anyway.

But after seeing this post on 9gag once:

I wanted to see an anime version of Sherlock : the TV series. I think it would be pretty epic, since I loved Death Note. I think it's portrayal would also be pretty amazing. intellectual hentai imo

Well, quality can be looked at, with different aspects.
If you are talking about animation and CGI effects, then the western animation is far superior to the Japanese. Even if you are talking about the art and the character emotions portrayed, I think Hollywood is far ahead of the Japanese.

When it comes to the voice acting and the plot, it is just the opposite. Sure, the voice acting is more on par than actually ahead.. but I still think the Japanese seiyyu's are a couple of steps ahead of their western counterparts on expressing emotions through their voices.

The plot, hands down, anime has it better. There are so many genres and the story telling are all great. I think most hollywood animations are far behind anime mainly because most expect the hollywood animations to be comedy oriented than anything else.

Lion King ,Wall-E and Up are the only ones that stand out from the crowd of hollywood animations in bring a new aspect to the plot than just comedy and entertainment for the kids.. while anime can pretty much be made for any age demographic.

But I think a normal viewer who trasitioned from the horror genre from Hollywood would have a hard time calling it horror as it's more psychological than " a lot of jump scares and really bad acting". The anime horror genre is filled with yandere characters and their exploits as well as many situations where a lot of crazy gore and violence occurs. Anime has a lot of horror to offer to those who likes the genre, it's way better than it's western counterparts as well.

Personally, I hate horror as I get easily scared and I dont like all that hype for a jump scare which wont let me sleep the whole night .__.

Why do you like to look at people´s empty manga lists? lol

Because only once people venture through it does the man/woman who has it feel a bit ashamed of it. They will start adding some just in case someone else pops by. If these kind of gestures might make people to read manga then all the better that I do it.

I also like being the first at things ._.

Do you like Bollywood films? I for some reason like the Bollywood films that center around romance or comedy and I hardly watch movies with those genre tags.

As an Indian, Bollywood is something I watch very very critically and only a handful of movies are basically liked or approved by me. There are some amazing romance genre movies as well as some of the worst pieces of crap ever made in the history of humanity. If they spent those money on anything else, even in the production of toilet paper. .that would have been better. Out of almost 100 bollywood movies, only around 1 or 2 atmost will be worth the watch.. rest are sooo baad.

I recommend 3 idiots, Dil wale Dul haliya le jayenge, Shole, PK , Lagaan, Rang De Basanti to you if you like watching them bollywood movies. I am a huge Aamir Khan fan since he is the only one who makes good movies these days.

Old bollywood movies are friggin amazing btw, the movies made around 70's, 80's and late 90's were pretty much the greatest of them all.. But these days, it has become so bad that I wait for intermission when I watch them in theaters and I hope for commercials when I watch them on tele.
