Then I watched Death Note, the plot again made me feel like anime was something I could really get into. I was a bit depressed with some personal issues as well, so by the time I watched my third anime, Maid sama, I was pretty hooked. 1 and half years later, after countless days of marathoning one piece, naruto, bleach, fairy tail, and hxh. I can say I enjoyed the ride so far. I am not as into anime as I was before after finding manga. But I do watch it once in a while ^^ |

Why I still watch anime to this day is because anime became something much more that helped me a lot growing up, whether it be having fun and killing time, having something to discuss and bond with someone over, or coping with harsh reality. This may seem cheesy to say, but even now when I watch anime, it still feels kind of magical and mystifying lol. It's a great pastime, and I still have a lot of fun. <3 TL;DR: Great first impression; thought it was great and mystifying and still do. Continue to watch anime because it's awesome, and I have lots of fun, plus it's kind of sentimental. |
