I feed them rice when I go. One time when I was visiting, they had just hatched a bunch of babies. One of them was dying, so I took it in and fed it some milk with a little dropper. It died anyway ._. you could hear the fainting squeaks One time, again, in cuba my older sister held this cute little yellow duck but she squished it too hard and it died x.x Point of the matter is, don't bring your chicken to Cuba. They might die. *waves at the chicken* Maybe so ^^ That's the cool thing about life, you have to expect the unexpected. I'll come visit my nieces and nephews, okay? I am trying to stop that habit as well. I gotcha, you never have more control over something than before you start. But I think pot is harmless, i don't consider it to be like other drugs. Its not addictive at all. The only reason i dont smoke is because i had an existential crisis after getting way too messed up one night when i first started. so its no longer enjoyable to me. But as for alcohol, I have plenty of friends that do crazy things when they drink, but if you aren't a crazy person and can control yourself, its nice to have a couple of beers. Its a social thing and if you can control yourself its helpful in meeting people, loosening up, and does let you have some fun. But for the most part, getting drunk is stupid. If you ever do drink, having 3 to 5 beers on a friday or saturday is perfect. Especially for a guy of your size. You'll only get a slight buzz and it'll be enjoyable. Getting blackout drunk will only ruin the next day and make you regret everything you did the night before (plus its not even fun being really drunk, you're literally poisoning yourself at that point). I don't find alcohol or pot to be addictive, but its good to know yourself. I get addicted to things easily too, like anime and video games. So i'm glad I have control of myself over these other aspects of my life. |

Oh you are just reminding me of many things I want to forget.. Well if you like doing it then I dont think you have to worry about others or anyone for that matter. I don't find alcohol or pot to be addictive, but its good to know yourself. I get addicted to things easily too, like anime and video games. So i'm glad I have control of myself over these other aspects of my life. Yeah I can get why you would call pot harmless. Most people smoke joints because it is harmless compared to alcohol. But the thing is, after using it for a long time, your body get used to it and you wont really get high anymore. That's when it is harmful, you keep on smoking so much and yet you wont feel anything, and then seeking that high again, people start going into higher drugs which are really harmful like cocaine, meth, heroine, and stuff and it just gets worse and worse. Weed act as a gateway drug and I think that is the only reason it should be illegal. To people like me, who truly cant control themselves, this process becomes insanely fast, I probably will try cocaine or heroine in 2 or 3 months, I think. Because I am that kind of person, I just keep wanting more and more, and at times nothing will ever be enough to satisfy me. I was so addicted to anime that I marathoned 600 episodes of one piece in 2 and half weeks and I felt it wasnt enough, so I marathoned Bleach in another 2 weeks and then I marathoned Naruto in 2 and half weeks. That's how much of an addict I am, so it wouldnt be a wonder if the above case happens to me. This is also one of the reasons why I asked you for help in meditation because I think it can significantly help me be at peace and keep myself controlled even about things that pique my interest too much ^^ |

Basically the peace that you get from meditation is very similar to the high you get from smoking weed. BUT, meditation is a healthy and focused way of attaining it, so its like a "clean high" so to speak. Weed is artificially gaining that peace. And without working for it, you can't appreciate it or use it to better yourself. Its kind of like using steroids to work out. Yes, its still healthy to work out and get in good physical shape, but using steroids is cheating to get the results and has damaging effects - so you don't truly earn it. ...And I also watched all of One Piece in roughly 3 weeks (and I've rewatched it in under a month on about 4 or 5 different occasions), watched Bleach in like 2 weeks, watched Naruto and Naruto Shippuden in 3 weeks, and watched Fairy Tail in about a week and a half. So i empathize with your anime addictive nature. I marathon every show I watch. I also used to play Halo 3 like 16 hours a day back in high school (before I even started watching anime). So anyways, keep at the meditation! If there's anything you should ever get addicted to, that should be it! |

Well I know pretty much know as much as anyone from my generation does. Absolutely nothing. It's a very huge and a really hard topic to keep oneself always updated. I know my political leaders, their parties, and how the Govt. is being run and what are the major problems we are facing now. But when it comes to the internal battles between different parties or just parties in general is very very difficult to keep track of. Mainly because there are tons of parties in this country. There are political parties restricted to only certain regions, some that dont have influence in certain areas and a lot in others. There are only about 2 or 3 parties that can be considered National Parties. My state is run by the Congress party with it's opposition being the communist party. The current ruling party of the country, BJP has no seats here in my state. So they dont have any say in the state's matters. I am not very keen on politics either, I would rather focus on the working of the current Govt. and it's shortcomings I suppose. I am not follower of any party even though I like the Aam Aadmi Party which means Common man's party. It's got many educated leaders from various fields as its members and they are making many welcome changes to the state they are ruling over. There is a lot of corrupted politicians here who take advantage of their political influence or power and they are probably the reason for this country's lack of development ._. Am I charismatic? Not to mention dowry, money the bride has to pay the groom's family for the marriage to occur, the dowry can be paid with gold, car, lots of money and even a house itself. Some people even give all of the above if the groom is someone with a highly paid job or has something that makes him at a higher position in the entire hierarchy of the society. Arranged marriages can only occur between families of people with the same caste, this itself is something that is completely wrong with my culture, why would their be caste differences or even the existence of these castes even after we have made laws to stop the discrimination from the first place. Castes are like social tiers within a religion, in hindu religion, there are over 1000 castes, and each caste has its own ranking of such sorts, they dont get arrange married to people from castes of lower ranking.. Would I marry someone whom I have never met before or love? Well as much as I hate this tradition, I come from a very orthodox family which will definitely outcast anyone who dont follow the norms of the society or the religion. I can not marry someone of another religion, and I cannot fall in love with someone at all. If I do, it has to be someone of my own religion and from a family that is as orthodox as ours and are in the social tier as ours. I am against it, but I have abandonment issues and the last thing I want in my life is to be an outcast from my own family, so there are very high chances that I might end up being arranged married. ._. |
