I think his mid life crisis would not have occured or went to such an extend if my mom chose to stay with him instead of coming with me to ensure that I would get used to the life here in India. I sometimes even think of going back all the way back to primary school, and redo my entire life to become someone completely different. What about you? I'd probably go back to my childhood, there are many memories I'd love to live again. And from then on, I'd fix my mistakes one by one, but once I changed something the flow of events would change and I'd face various incidents which are different from those I had known. So changing your faults would mean nothing, you could always make another ones. I've thought so much about this stuff too, but the sad truth is we live every second of our lives only once ._. Think about it, what if we messed up even more while trying to change our actions? :D You shouldn't be thinking so much about this asking your mom not to come thing. But that's mainly because I dont really have much of a pride, and if I have said something wrong or accused him of something I shouldnt have, I would apologize right away, and you know how it is with people who have pride, if the other party apologizes, they do too. I have had close friends fight each other and then stop talking to each other for weeks though. We had to intervene to get them to solve their issues.. Both were too proud of themselves. I am sorry to hear you got into an argument with that friend of yours.. Was it something that could not absolutely let go off? Then, I think there would be no need to feel guilty or regret about it. |

oh yeah, I totally meant "P" You're making me feel semiconscious about my capitalization now. I usually don't capitalize letters. I rather use this extra energy into something more useful. All the kids obviously wanted to be forwards and I didn't care so I defended because other didn't. Also my biggest concern back then was that we don't get scored on. I didn't care if we score or not as long as we had a clean sheet. Then I stopped attending practice by the end of elementary school because it crossed with trumpet classes/musical school. In high school and untill now I played more indoor (5v5, futsal). Positions mix more in this kind, but I played a more attacking role than before. Probably because it's easier to dribble. I think I am pretty good in every role, except goalkeeper. Do you play outside or indoor? And with how many players usually? |

What about you? Ooh cool, I tend to watch TheFineBros but only the reaction videos they do though, it's appealing to watch peoples reactions for some reason. It's cool that you got a variety of stuff and people to watch though, I watch certain people and types of videos which doesn't really matter but still. The types of videos I usually watch are comedies, music, pranks, and YTPMV's/MAD's. The comedies I watch are the videos from nigahiga and cr1tikal. You already know who nigahiga is but cr1tikal plays games and commentates on them and he has the most monotone voice ever and such magnificent vocabulary and is witty. For some reason I watch prank videos every once in awhile, preferably the professional ones where other people are pranked not the ones where friends prank each other. And then there's YTPMV's/MAD's which I have a strange love for. Pretty much they'll take random video sources and they'll turn it into songs/music videos and despite how weird/drugged out they can be they can be pretty funny, weird, and/or really nice to watch/listen. |

I havent played much indoor football, the closest I have been to is playing football in this soapy arena we made for fun during our college fest. I normally play outdoors either the beach or the grounds here. Most grounds I have played are completely barren btw. Not a single grass to be found and I kick up a lot of dust when I run. I normally play 7 on 7's or 8 v 8 these days. Back in school it used to be 14/15 per team because of the large number of boys in class. These days I play with around 16-18 guys it's normally 9v9 or 8v8. Do you play beach football? It's a lot different compared to normal football, but it's all the same when it comes to fun imo ^^ |

Meat is life Meat is love I couldn't agree more There are some interesting animes this season, the ones I'm mostly hyped for are Oregairu and Fate/ Stay night UBW ! I've tried to made some playlist before, but I don't have patience to do it... So I just go looking for lists made by others, or albums. And I would've to made so many lists.. because some days I feel like listening to Rock, others just anime musics , others national musics and etc... So I guess that go for albums are the best choice x) Do you have friends IRL with who you can talk about anime? |

But that's mainly because I dont really have much of a pride, and if I have said something wrong or accused him of something I shouldnt have, I would apologize right away, and you know how it is with people who have pride, if the other party apologizes, they do too. I have had close friends fight each other and then stop talking to each other for weeks though. We had to intervene to get them to solve their issues.. Both were too proud of themselves. I am sorry to hear you got into an argument with that friend of yours.. Was it something that could not absolutely let go off? Then, I think there would be no need to feel guilty or regret about it. Well its one of the issues that comes with being part of the band in church, the band in church produces music for worship. Well the more experienced musicians are claiming the new ones who are coming in have no passion/aren't improving, while the not so good musicians are claiming that worshiping to produce music doesn't require such high standards and that the more experienced musicians are missing the whole point of worship if we focus too much on the musical aspect since this is all for God. I'm basically on the fence here since I think the experienced musicians have too high expectations and they cant really expect the less experienced ones to improve so drastically, however I also think the not so experienced/skilled musicians should not take things for granted and not strive for improvement,doesn't mean you aren't good enough does not mean you cant push yourselves ( and I always believe that pushing yourselves to do what you can with the best of your abilities for God is the right way, and being contented too easily might make yourself stagnant and have no desire.) Well we're going to sort it out in a full team meeting anyway, so hope for the best. He doesn't need to work very much to reach the top. Ronaldo, on the other hand, if you check him playing for Sporting, his style was very different from now. But the way he worked over the years (specially under SAF), he grew up a lot. Strength, shot power, his movement without the ball, free kicks and penalties, it's all due to his hard work. And since he's so strong-minded and much more used to working hard than Messi is, it is also easier to keep his consistency. I find that fascinating, an example for everyone. Valencia becomes very predictable once you get to know how he plays. He surprised with his first few games because noone knew him. But as soon as that ended, that's when he became that 'mediocre player'. He can't use the left foot, all he does is run to the line and cross. -.- Nani has a lot of talent, world class when he uses it well. Great shot power, incredible technique, perfectly two-footed... but he just can't put all of this to good use. Mentally, he's very poor... Yeah, his celebrations are awesome. xD Yeah, he still is. But the more injuries he has, the less time he has to use his potential to become a great player. It's simply bad luck. Happens to a lot of players, specially in BPL. Januzaj is amazing, I just hope LVG doesn't ruin his potential. :S Rafael is injury prone too. He spent months injured. Yeah, let's hope next year will be different. xD Hmm, I don't usually consider players like Ronaldo, Messi, Neymar and Griezmann to be strikers. They're more like wingers. When I say strikers, I mean real centre forward players. And Lewandowski is, in my opinion, the most complete striker around. Only players on his level are probably Diego Costa and Ibrahimovic. Benzema will never be that big of a striker as long as he plays with Ronaldo. xD No, not yet. I'm currently taking the driving license, so I can have a means of transport for when I get a job. As soon as I end this, I'm looking for one. I can't wait for that. xD Hmm, what got me into the course, you mean the reasons for me to pick that one? I've always loved Robotics. And it's always been my dream to work on that area. And robotics has a little bit of both Electronics and Mechanics. Mechatronics connects the two, which is perfect for me. But it has way too much to learn in simply 3 years. Because they didn't explore that connection enough, I wanted to take a master's degree in Electrical Engineering. I could pick one of it subdisciplines, Control, where I could explore more of that connection and reach the Robotics that I always wanted. But I'll save that for later. ;P Hehe, yeah. I think what Messi is missing the most in his career is stints at other leagues. If he can be as successful as Ronaldo in EPL, only would I consider him the best. He is too used to the fluent , fancy, light football in Spain, I bet he would find it hard to go day in and out in the physical battles of EPL. It's a lot like Mou v/s pep battle I think, Mou has proven himself in every league he has been on, while Pep is a genius who took Barca to new heights, but he has yet to prove himself in other leagues. I dont see Bundesliga as the right league though, Bayern is a strong team and they would do well, no matter who the manager is, imo, especially in Bundesliga where it's slowly becoming a one horse race. If Pep can succeed at EPL, Serie A or Ligue 1 even. Then I would say he is comparable to Mou. I see the problem with Valencia, and it doesnt seem like he's going to improve much either, given his age. I think Man U still has a lot of room to improve when it comes to wingers, anyway. Well they are all technically strikers as long as they play in that forward area. But you mean a proper #9? Yeah, then Lewandowski would probably be leading the list. I think Tevez is a beast btw. I enjoy talking about the different arcs and hearing their thoughts on the anime I recommend.. I am also the supplier of anime as I am the one who downloads anime.. I have like 3 TB of anime xD I mostly come to MAL because of the community here. There are lots of different types of people here and I love knowing what their opinions are on different anime and different topics. You are welcome ^^ But no one knows my password :P I will only delete my anime list, not MAL account. I want lots of RIP comments ;_; hmm I think I will make one on it then. Not right now. But in a few days when I can sit all day and make it popular somehow x) Well the conversation would have probably gone to weird stuff if I kept myself awake for more amount of time. I have this thing where I start opening up and start flirting when it's super late at night.. Like after 5 AM if I havent slept till then. The alterego basically takes over completely and would not be under the striked text anymore. I have had some really weird moments with people when I do that.. so I try to keep myself awake till 4:30 max. Then I just gotta sleep. or I take over :3 Well, mom wakes me up because we have an early morning prayer at around that time. Also, for a light morning jog. Sometimes I go to the beach to watch the sun rise :3 Well, I do all that when I sleep on time though. I normally am sleep walking if I sleep at 4:30 and she wakes me up at 5 =_= be glad that I slept xD It would have really been ruined if I stayed awake xD That's the great thing about the internets isnt it. We meet people from all kinds of time zones and places, and cultures :3 I stay awake till 4:30 normally because I want to talk to you guys ^^ Most of you guys are around only after midnight here ._. It's again very thunderous outside today. I want to go outside and dance in the rain today as well. Yeah beach volleyball is also pretty fun ^^ We dont really have any special courts or balls. We do have goal posts set up at a corner of the public beach, the sand is normally at a perfect state, so it's always fun. The wetter the ball gets, the more fun it is xD We used to go and play on some of the profession beach football courts, but those are normally occupied by adults or real players. We'd rather have fun at the beach, and lots of random strangers would show up and play with us. It's a peaceful country neighboring Yemen,UAE, and Saudi Arabia. I studied in Indian School Muscat, there. It's a school for Indian immigrant's kids in Oman. Even though all my friends were Indians, we lived a completely different life to that of those who live in India. There is a LOT of people in India, the students are always in high pressure and there's a lot of competition in everything. Add to that, that I am from South India were it's a lot more traditional and conservative, my mom felt that I lived a life completely devoid of any of that, and if I were to go somewhere else other than India, I would become someone who would only be Indian in name. I didnt know much of the language either, I could speak to my parents, and my brothers. But it was nowhere at a level where I could completely make a stranger understand what I am telling him. She felt that I would forget the language as a whole as well, if I were to go somewhere else. I'd already begun speaking around 80% of the time in English at home as well.. so I guess she had that feeling I guess. Well with normal Indians here, I think differently, my perspective is different, so is the way I interact with people. But I understand what she meant though. Only after you live here , study here and make friends here, would you know how different it is "being an Indian" and "being from India". BTW Since you said you are from Italy.. I am kind of curious whether the hand motions you use are different to other people.. Like I saw in f.r.i.e.n.d.s how the middle finger is shown like a closed hand shoved upwards in Italy. xD |

Well this HST was made in 4th of September 2014, but it really got active around the 18th of February 2015. As you probably have understood from our discussions so far, I am someone who enjoys sharing my experiences not always enjoyable, but still and thoughts about almost every topic there is. When I made this HST, I had no idea how much time I would spend on it, nor did I ever even imagine it crossing 100 posts. I saw many HSTs with a lot of posts, when I made mine, especially TTR's and SweetMonia's, but they were very interesting people, and are also the most influential people on this cafe. I didnt think mine would fare well with them or anyone else' since I dont really go on any other threads than the Say something about the Person above you thread or the different counting threads. I was thinking that most interesting question I would get would probably be why I have so many posts in such a small time interval or how I found anime or something.. Never did I imagine myself ever having discussions on topics like racism,religion,relationships or my own experiences for that matter. It's amazing how people have turned up and asked me all these thought provoking, and interesting questions. I think I'd like to take this opportunity to actually thank everyone who has ever posted a question in this HST, as well as, anyone who found it interesting enough to go through. I will also thank you for being a cool person to keep coming back to me with your thoughts on various topics as well as asking such intriguing questions. You are probably the #1 regular here xD I also enjoy reading your responses to my thoughts as well as your own thoughts on various questions you have asked so far. I think I found HST's to be something that is like a gateway to knowing a person a lot. It would take days and years to probably know as much as a person if you were simply chatting with them. I think HST's make it very efficient to put up new topics for discussions as well as finding different perspectives on the same thought from different people. I for one, found it extremely fascinating to learn about everything people had to say on many topics I have discussed with them on their HST's as well as mine, Also reading their responses to questions from other people. This inside knowledge about someone, keeps me interested all the time. TBH I found MAL forums to be quite boring once I got used to it, and I found that Casual Discussion boards really didnt have many people who actually wanted to discuss on stuff. I am not a big fan of discussing anime or manga with every chapter, I'd rather discuss on it as a whole than just a specific chapter and with my tiny list, it's kind of hard to keep myself interested with just anime/manga discussions with people that only happen once in a week or so. I found various chat threads to be interesting, but there also I found it quite hard to discuss on stuff, without constant trolling or circle jerks. I was slowly getting distant from the forums and I was simply just wasting my time playing around on all these game threads. That is, until I found ask.fm's and HST's. ask.fm's dont really encourage discussions but just asking questions. HST are like the holy grail of everything. You can discuss, introduce new topics and understand each other on a whole new level. Not to mention listening to the responses of other people who read the discussions as well. I also think it helps in forming a strong bond with people as well. For instance I think of you as someone that I will always care about. I never did really care about people,much less those I find in the internets, but with this new way of getting know each other and holding discussions. I am starting to care about a lot of people, which itself in a way, makes me glued to this forums and I hope to do so for a long time to come. I hope To all those who have made this HST feel like an oven. I truly am grateful to you all , and I am really glad to have met such a nice bunch of people that I can care about ^^ How about you? Your hot seat thread is probably one of the funniest & intellectual out there ~ About mine, well, I wasn't expecting much either. But since it seemed like fun I just went on asking people around & I really wasn't expecting it to reach 40 posts actually. I got some nice questions, got teased, & it was a fun experience. People are still asking me even though I became less active. I was really glad to receive such positive feedback, some even cheered me up! T_T So thanks as well xD! I do have around 5 or 6 friends who enjoy anime in my uni, and my 2 brothers (One is 16 and the other is 7) who also enjoy anime. I think most of my friends who watch anime are in about the same wavelength as I, they dont get into fan boying over any 2-D girls or maybe they do, but they keep it a secret o_o They are major Naruto/One Piece fans tbh. I am like the guy who is most updated on the anime world around here, the one who recommends new anime to the guys and all. I enjoy talking about the different arcs and hearing their thoughts on the anime I recommend.. I am also the supplier of anime as I am the one who downloads anime.. I have like 3 TB of anime xD I mostly come to MAL because of the community here. There are lots of different types of people here and I love knowing what their opinions are on different anime and different topics. Also, I am like one of the lesser experienced anime watcher here.. which is awesome since I am the one who will be getting the recommendations ^^ How about you? I have a couple of friends that used to keep up with One pice and Naruto mangas, but that's about it. So over all I don't usually talk about anime stuffs with anyone. On MAL I just read a little of what other people are thinking about the shows , and I rarely post on those discussions. Do you see your self watching anime in 10 years from now ? |

I didnt know much of the language either, I could speak to my parents, and my brothers. But it was nowhere at a level where I could completely make a stranger understand what I am telling him. She felt that I would forget the language as a whole as well, if I were to go somewhere else. I'd already begun speaking around 80% of the time in English at home as well.. so I guess she had that feeling I guess. Well with normal Indians here, I think differently, my perspective is different, so is the way I interact with people. But I understand what she meant though. Only after you live here , study here and make friends here, would you know how different it is "being an Indian" and "being from India". BTW Since you said you are from Italy.. I am kind of curious whether the hand motions you use are different to other people.. Like I saw in f.r.i.e.n.d.s how the middle finger is shown like a closed hand shoved upwards in Italy. xD OH okay gotcha. That's cool. Do you like India? Do you plan to move elsewhere at some point? And lol well i'm not FROM italy, but thats my ancestry. My great grandparents were born in italy. BUT i do talk with my hands, a LOT. Seriously, if you were to tie my hands up I can't speak lol. The "bumping two fists together" thing in friends isn't an italian thing, but the shoving one fist upward thing is. But i'm stereotypical italian in the sense that I have pasta and meatballs all the time, basically ever meal I have has some sort of pasta with it actually lol. I talk a lot, I'm very close with my family, and every one of my aunts and my mom will push you to eat until you explode. After going to Italy last year, I can definitely say that although the culture is obviously different than here in America - American Italians do have it pretty close (not guidos), tradition wise and personality wise that is. |
