| Hey theeere, I'm back :) I had some decent 4 weeks in Turkey, tho I was sick half of the time and couldn't really do much more than lying in bed and watching Anime/reading Manga. But nevermingd that, now that I'm back I will continue making cards, but I'll most likely do merely the expected minimum, since school will begin soon and it's getting serious for me now, so I don't want to feel forced while doing something I usually enjoy. | Back from being on hiatus Sorry for not being able to make some cards on the club ;-; I was suddenly on hiatus because of poor internet connection for about three weeks ;_; It was all of a sudden so I haven't had any time to notify the staffs. But I'm back now~ Probably will start making cards for the last half of August. Bad news is.. all of my files of cards/claims etc. got deleted and I had no backup on my harddrive ;_____; So.. back to zero. So I won't be able to recover things easily. Tho I'll try to recreate some. It will take time >: Also thank you for those birthday cards. Love them all ♥ |

| Heey I don't know, if any of you noticed, but I haven't participated in any editions lately, even tho my hiatus had ended. The first reason for that is school. It's the time, where it gets serious for me now, and I'm in school 'til 4pm 4 out of 5 days per week. And homeworks are also not done by themselves. The second reason are my driving lessons. Besides school I go to theoretical class 2 times a week and practical class 2-3 times a week and I also have to study for the exam, which is coming up next week. And the third and probably most crucial reason is my current health. Since I've been back from my vacation my right thumb started hurting everytime I spent some time on PC, phone etc... I thought it was just nothing and didn't go to a doctor. But then last week, it suddenly got worse and I had it looked over. Seems it was worse than I thought and I got it bandaged, making my whole right hand almost useless. Reason for it is most probably spending too much time on PC, phone etc. So I won't be using them much the next few weeks months. And I sure as hell won't be able to make any cards, I'm very sorry. |

Long time no talk :D @-Yuzuru- @bloodyshadowz13 @Bowie @ChiLynn @elkensteyin @Maze @Phraze @Puns @Reirany @Samuelkun @Sugar- I've been wanting do an event for the club so I thought of doing a "Vocaloid x Youtaite x Utaite (VocaYouutaite) Summer Event". I want to make it like The Queen's Safe Haven's Summer Idol Event. I couldn't find their sign up thread or the main thread that has the rules cause they have so much forums and it was hurting my eyes looking at them. If everyone who wants to participate likes this idea (I'll explain it as you keep reading) then I'll ask TQSH if we could do something like their event. If they say no, then it'll be like regular collecting cards. 1. Definitions (in my own words) ✿ Vocaloid: on youtube, you can easily search them up. They're fictional characters that sing (lol). They have voice banks from real people. You can also buy their voice banks and some other things to create your own MMD and etc. I don't know much about these things though. The link is to their mal's manga page. It has the "main characters" like Miku, Rin, Len, Kaito, etc. ✿ Utaite: These are real life people who sing covers of Vocaloid songs. But now, a lot of them either retired, have their albums, and do many other things. I think most or all utaite are Japanese and lives in Japan. I think most or all of them are also professional singers. Some of my favorite: 96neko, VIPTenchou, Mafumafu, Soraru, Amatsuki, etc. You can find them on Nico Nico Douga and Youtube. ✿ Youtaite: These are also real life people who sing covers of Vocaloid songs, Japanese songs, and etc. They're basically "utaite" but because Youtaite post mainly on Youtube, that's why it's (You)tube u(taite). These singers are from all over the world. Some of my favorite: Sojiro, Kuraiinu, Aruvn, AmaLee, Lizz Robinett, Chalili, etc. ☆.。.:*・°☆.。.:*・°☆.。.:*・°☆.。.:*・°☆ 2. Cards I haven't fully thought about what to do with this yet. So... There will be 3 sets of cards which are vocaloid, utaite, and youtaite. We'll be making character cards. So for each set of cards, we'll have the character cards. Vocaloid set: Miku Hatsune, Rin Kagamine, Len Kagamine, Kaito, etc. Utaite set: 96neko, VIPTenchou, Mafumafu, Soraru, Amatsuki, etc. Youtaite set: Sojiro, Kuraiinu, Aruvn, AmaLee, Lizz Robinett, Chalili, etc. No using real life photos. Something like that ☆.。.:*・°☆.。.:*・°☆.。.:*・°☆.。.:*・°☆ 3. Points & Shop Like TQSH's event, each request will have a set of points. 「Regular request will be 5 points. Special request will be 10 points.」 Special request will be --haven't thought this far yet-- maybe the most common/popular characters/people or the least popular? At the end of the event, we'll open a shop where users can use their points to buy cards they couldn't request. If we do points, I will probably need help with keeping track of the points. :) ☆.。.:*・°☆.。.:*・°☆.。.:*・°☆.。.:*・°☆ 4. Teams If we do points and teams, I'll have to ask TQSH because this is pretty much how their event is like. We would split into 3 teams (vocaloid team, youtaite team, & utaite team). This means I need at least 2 staff to help me lead the teams. Or if there are 3 staff who wants to lead the teams. At the end of the event, the team with the most points (team that wins) can either earn more points or get special achievement cards. To start with teams, there'll be a thread to sign up. (1) When the sign up is over and more members wants to join, we can add them to teams that don't have even amount of numbers. (2) Or wait til there's 3 new members each time before adding them into the teams. (3) Or once the sign up is over, members can't join after. Whatever you guys want to decide on. There will be badges for each team~ ☆.。.:*・°☆.。.:*・°☆.。.:*・°☆.。.:*・°☆ I think that's it.. Sorry it's a lot to read and kind of unorganized. | @elkensteyin @bloodyshadowz13 It's been about 4 days and it doesn't seem like anyone else has time or want to participate. Since I want to want to do this event soon, and I don't think elkensteyin has time to be a team leader, maybe we can just do the points? As for the cards, since all 3 of us are able to make cards, I have 2 thoughts: 1. We can each choose a set of cards to make so like one person will make the whole set of cards for Youtaite and another person will do that for Utaite and another person with Vocaloid. 2. Or we can create a list of all Vocaloid, Youtaite, and Utaite "characters" and we choose whoever ones we want to make. What do you guys want to do? I'll also go ask TQSH if we can make our event similar to theirs and yeah :) and Congrats elkensteyin for getting promoted! :D Good luck on your additional projects too! |
